They go to Egypt in the summer. It’s very warm outside for me, The water is also warm, 28 degrees - ... Depends on the time of day. We rested in June (beginning) in Sharm, I was persuaded to go on foot for lunch, I thought I would lose consciousness from the heat.

So why not go there in June?
аватар elenako
Everyone decides for himself - who loves the heat, who does not. But personally, I don’t go there in the summer. October-November is ideal for me, maybe September (second half). Now we are going in April.

in June of that year we were in Turkey and therefore I would like to see Egypt as well

I finally chose Egypt for myself. I really fell in love with both reefs and fish, you swim like in a giant aquarium. Take a mask and snorkel with you. Choose a hotel with a good house reef and relax!
Will you be able to travel in May?
Now you will probably be advised two options -
a) go in June
b) do not go in June
But it's still up to you to choose.
The right choice for you!

thank you very much, we will think even closer to the rest

Travel in June
The weather is hot and dry
Prices in recent years do not differ much from prices "in season"
To go or not depends on two factors:
How well do you tolerate heat over 40 degrees?
- how green, tennis and air-conditioned the hotel will be.

Yes, more. If you plan to spend a long time in the water, looking at the fish, then it will not be superfluous to bring some kind of T-shirt with you specifically for swimming.

If you were fine in Turkey, then in Egypt it will be fine. The humidity on the Turkish coast is high, in Egypt it is much drier and the temperature is more comfortable.
Was in August:

although I don't like sauna... everything was OK! Just choose a hotel with a large air-conditioned lobby. In the evening, surfaces (like radiators) radiate heat no worse than stoves, you still need to hide "in the cold"

I agree with papa74 - most tourists rest in July-August on the Antalya coast, and it really was hot there ... In Egypt, at the same time, the temperature is the same (40), but there is no humidity at all and it is quite comfortable to relax on the territory of the hotel (excursions are undesirable) . June is even easier. I think June is 100% acceptable for holidays in Egypt.

We rested in August - just super, prices are lower than in the season, it gets dark at 19-30, and not at 17.00 as in October-November, there are no strong winds, the sea is 38 degrees! We didn’t climb out for three hours, we walked in sunglasses and hats - this is natural, but in Turkey it is much wetter and the heat is worse tolerated than in Egypt.

We rested in July. Yes, the heat, of course, but no one drives into the sun! We worked out a daily routine for ourselves - we wake up in the morning and go to the sea before breakfast, we went, had breakfast and sunbathed until lunch. And from lunch, a quiet hour (as in kindergarten;)). In the evening it is already not hot and you can take a walk. Never regretted. And they had a great rest.

we went to Egypt at the end of May, somewhere before the 28th or 29th. Hot, but we even managed to go on an excursion to Luxor. The main attitude.

Last year we were in mid-June, and with a one-year-old child. Everything is super, in the morning and in the evening it is very comfortable, and it’s a little hot in the afternoon. Cheap last-minute tours come across, you just have to look well.

june in Turkey - a sauna that drunken men tried to turn into a bathhouse - it's hot and sooooo humid, so you "boil" a little at +40; and in Egypt +52 is much more comfortable, the main thing to remember is a headdress, be sure to bring water with you (drink, wash - wax from overheating) and a cream with a high SPF (at least 30), and as they already said from 2 up to 4 days to sleep in a room with an air conditioner

Was in July 2008 with a daughter of 9 years old and a mother of 58 years old.
We even dared to go to Cairo. Everything is super, because there is always either the sea or a pool nearby. But during this period you can not get out of the water at all, it warms up so much. You can’t compare it with humid Turkey, it’s better in Egypt.

Egypt is one of the best holiday destinations at any time of the year. But its proximity to the equator in June-July is an increased danger for a white man because of the sun. Swimming in a T-shirt is unlikely to save your body from burns that can turn into a serious illness. So you need to seriously approach the rest at this time.

Holidays in Egypt all year round
including summer
hot? yes hot
but thanks to the dry climate
heat is much more bearable
than at the same time in the Crimea or Turkey
