National cuisine
Tell me where in Hurghada you can try national cuisine. Restaurants (cafes) are not for tourists, but for locals.

I liked the Hefni fish restaurant in the Old Town. I had dinner there almost every day, I saw tourists only once, and then they seemed to be with one of the locals, I didn’t see ours for sure. I wrote to you in PM for more details.

try to go to Down Town (Dahar). There are many local cafes: both on the street and inside. Most of the locals are friendly and the prices are not particularly winding up (although, of course, the Arabs themselves eat much cheaper than they offer us, but still cheaper than at the Sheraton, and you can feel the national flavor. One evening we found a small and cozy coffee- shop, the family owns it, some of them are in my photos in the review, they are very friendly, they have a lot of kids of different ages who took pictures with us with pleasure, and such a colorful Arab old man))) So, they make amazing coffee, I’m like haven't tried it yet. and sell it for next to nothing

Unfortunately, I don’t remember the names, they are located not far from the local market, there is already a closed pedestrian zone and there are barriers, maybe this will serve as a guide ((

From fish restaurants, I would advise EL Mina. This is my favorite and delicious, I always go there (there is a dish with fish, shrimp and squid, all grilled costs 65 L.E.). This time I decided to try something different. Went to Starfish. Shit is rare and expensive. Not only is the portion tiny, but also the grilled squid and shrimp were brought cold. That is, it was clearly not a freshly prepared dish.
And regarding restaurants with nat. kitchen, I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen such. There was FelFelya, but now it has been closed for the 3rd month. And the locals mostly eat in all sorts of catering eateries, of which there are a lot on Sherry Road. By the way, on this street I tried a drop dead dessert - blilya - something like boiled oats with hot sweet milk with nuts (forest, cashews, almonds, braid) and cinnamon. It was a mind blown out of bliss.
