I would not go to Cairo in the summer, and even more so with a child. We went to Cairo at the end of September, sooooo hot, tiring. Swollen from heat and long sitting, although not prone to swelling. I concluded that the best time to visit Cairo is in winter.

June is very hot. Near the sea the breeze blows - it will be more pleasant. The main thing is to make sure you don't burn out. Protective cream at least 50. Territory - a huge red-hot, very little greenery, although well-groomed. Far from the sea - and it's all over hot cement - unpleasant. And of course in June to the pyramids or to Luxor - this is horror.
