I rested from September 3 and September 27 ...
The weather was cool, at the beginning of the month, of course, it’s hot, and then the weather is just right - warm water and air. But in Luxor we could hardly stand it ... the winter months are better for this trip

Rested with a guy last year from August 31 to September 14. We didn't go to Luxor. It was deadly hot there, according to our neighbors in the hotel. People fainted - especially full hearts. I was in Luxor on January 6th. And then it was about 30 heat. So if you decide, take ice in a thermos and put it on your head. And move around - in dashes from shadow to shadow, although there are very few shadows in Luxor.

The best time for sightseeing is January - February! =) Not so hot. =)
You can also get to Luxor by plane, but it's expensive. =)

we went to Luxor in early October - we almost got cooked - but you can certainly survive ...
the main thing is to stretch the hours of hell in dashes - and in the evening it is warm ... well ... beautiful ... everything is in my favorite brown colors ...
better to postpone the trip for a couple of weeks ...

in Luxor the temperature is always higher than in Hurghada and the humidity is higher due to its proximity to the Nile and the south of the country. In September it will be already comfortable for holidays, but a little hot for trips, especially to Luxor. I would recommend going in October.

Was in Luxor in early December - that's it. We arrived back not at all tired for hours at 9 pm, and also went to the disco. They walked around Karnak from the heart - they were not looking for a shadow.
I think you are unlikely to enjoy the tour - just check the box that there were all. But you should definitely go there - it's breathtaking.
When I was resting in October, there was no desire to go on excursions at all. Near the sea buzz - and so hot - it was hard to imagine that in Luxor.

We went end of September/beginning of October. By the sea in the hotel it’s not hot at all, they didn’t even notice that in Egypt, in the luxor, yes, it’s hot, it’s hard, but because of this you shouldn’t cancel both the excursion and the trip to Egypt, depending on how you endure it. I did not faint at all, absolutely tolerable, and interesting.

but in general, you know, you can get into the heat at any time. We were in Luxor a few years ago in mid-November. It was +44 and the scorching sun. But it wasn’t hard, although I can’t stand the heat very well.

In September the weather is good.
And swimming and sunbathing - quite.
As for the trip to Luxor, it's hot, but not deadly,
especially since you will spend most of the trip in an air-conditioned bus.

I was in Luxor in early September and I can’t say that it was terrible. Most of the tour takes place in the bus, and it is air-conditioned. We were lucky and we visited the Karnak temple in the forefront, so the sun was not very scorching, and then there were tombs, they were not hot. We were more tired from the saturation of the excursion, and at the end of the day it was generally difficult to get off the bus, because this excursion involves a lot of walking. But all these difficulties were forgotten the next morning, and the memories of what we saw are still with us ...

were in Luxor on May 25, it was + 50, it was normally tolerated. The main thing is to wear trousers and a tunic with long sleeves, a hat. We were very pleased with the tour, a lot of impressions.

We were in Luxor in December. The most suitable time. Not hot and not tiring. As for the humidity in Luxor - why is it? From the Nile? so it looks more like Desna in width. :) Even in Aswan and Abu Simbel (especially in the latter), where reservoirs increase the width of the river tenfold, there was no humidity. Although the guides say that Lake Nasr has increased it. Before that it was a VERY dry climate. In September, excursions are more extreme. Even in December it’s not so easy to get around the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings in a day, but by dashing from shadow to shadow (acquaintances in August) - well, then I would think about it. BUT to be in Egypt and see nothing but the sea and the coast - this is already for the 3-4th visit. I myself would have looked at Alexandria with pleasure. And the upper reaches of the Nile (around Lake Nasr) would be interesting to look at. But our tour operators do not offer excursions there, and due to the proximity of the border and recent events, such a trip may not be completely safe.

We were in Luxor in October - it was already more or less, much easier than at the same time in Cairo. Although in the Valley of the Pharaohs, as I remember, some people lost consciousness from the heat ... In September, I think it will be hard on an excursion.
