Agree. There is no good reef in Hurghada - the chicken city is old, they trampled everything, destroyed it during the construction of hotels, until a ban was introduced. Makadi Bay is a 20 minute drive from Hurghada. On the reef (and also the sandy entrance) - the Al Nabila hotel with a good reef. And of course, Marsa Alam is the best - there are turtles, dolphins, and dugongs ... but 3-4 hours drive from Hurghada (this is if you fly from Ukraine, but from Russia it seems like planes fly to Mars).
