If it were for myself, then I would choose between Jewels Sahara (1720), Le Pacha (1750), but in general, in 1900 you can meet and go to Albatross or Kalimera Hurghada.

Sand beach is good, well, no matter how you treat it. A huge number of rooms with mold on the walls, dead plumbing. I do not advise. Beirut is also weak to say the least. The management of Sun & Sea has changed this year (not for the better).
Three-ruble hotels in Hurghada are rather weak. IMHO a decent trio of SEA GARDEN - but not cheap for 3 *, for this money 4 * can be found. Of the inexpensive, worthy 4 * - Albatrosi, Magic Beach.

Oh yes, and also the average territory, I don’t like big and noisy city hotels. Therefore, one of my favorite hotels in Hurghada is Arabia Azur!!! I prefer to fork out, but get exactly what you want from the rest!

I didn't suggest BRAVO MOUNT VERDE 3*, DESERT INN HOTEL 3*, EL SAMAKA BEACH 3*, JEWELS LA PERLA 3, etc. Beirut on this site, by the way, has a rating of 7 on a 10-point scale! And there are pluses that are not typical for "three rubles" - 1 line, cozy territory, good entry into the sea. There are three Tritons, the best Triton Beach, on line 1, Triton Hotel on line 2 and Triton Inn on line 3. Good hotels in their category. Shedwan Golden Beach is also not bad, Large territory, good location and food, "sharpened" for Europeans. The Steinbergers are an expensive chain of hotels.
