Sharm El Naga is something. It's hard to get there, right, only the locals carry. Ours are not. We approached, asked, NO and that's it, only foreigners. I accidentally got in. So ask wherever possible. I want to go to Hurghada, just because of this excursion. There is also diving. Straight from the shore. And what a reef ... Excursion for the whole day. There are no sights in El Gouna itself, but you can also look at the hotels and villas of the rich in Hurghada, the aquarium is generally worse than in the Zoos of the Urals - they could have done more interesting, rarely anyone catches something when fishing. We have been to Hurghada more than once - we take the cheapest 25 dollars, but the best (in my opinion) excursion "Coral Reefs" for the whole day 3-4 landings on different reefs for 1-1.5 hours each, because to see all the inhabitants of the sea is the main thing. By the way, on the same excursion we saw dolphins, but it’s how lucky, it’s not a fact that you will see them when you go to El-Gouna. On it you saw moray eels, stingrays, an octopus, the price included lunch on a boat, tea, coffee, 1 bottle of water and cola. Try it, I think you'll like it.

I also don’t recommend the eastern one (I personally), there is only one landing on the reefs, the rest of the time is taken by fishing - on which, as a rule, they don’t catch anything (tourists), and a medium-level performance with dancing (these are usually held in any hotel 1-2 times a week), although the tour lasts all day. You watch the fish in the sea (snorkeling) 1 hour. I once again for the Coral Reefs.
