Very important - about drinking water
please give advice on drinking water and drinks: judging by the reviews, at least take it with you (by the way, will they let you in at the airport?). what can you drink without fear of poisoning, where is it sold, how much does it cost?

Bottled water is sold almost everywhere. In some hotels they put a bottle in the room every day. It is not expensive. You should not take water with you.

We always take a bottle of 2 liters with us, put it in luggage (you can’t enter the cabin of the aircraft), if the food is not ALL. And then by the time you arrive, you get to the room - it’s already evening, you don’t feel like looking for a store right away, but you want to drink! And the hotel is expensive to buy!
And so in the stores in Hurghada (they are almost there near every hotel), in my opinion, it is even cheaper than ours! Only without gas! There is also gas, but it is rare and more expensive (husband does not drink water without gas in principle)!

If you have everything included, then there is nothing to worry about at all.
And if HB, then you can buy bottled water without gas in any supermarket.
If your hotel is out of the way, there are still shops at the hotel, only it will be more expensive.
On the first trip, we took water with us in our luggage, no problem, we don’t take it anymore, there is no need for this, everything can be bought there. And poisonings are most often from ready-made salads - avoid them, it’s better to take vegetables in pieces and pour them yourself with oil and lime juice, vinegar or seasonings that are always there.

Water with you at the airport will not be allowed. And put it in your luggage. as already mentioned, it's worth it. You can drink everything, but many do not drink drinks with ice, it is not clear from what it is made. Beer, cola, etc. from bottles are normal.

here one friend wrote how he carried 10 liters of water with him!
what are you?! water can be bought in any market, and it costs max. 5 pounds for a bottle and a half!!!
there is no mineral water, there is only imported, it is more expensive.

you can carry with you
but what's the point of carrying weights if you can buy a bottled cart at the same prices on the spot?

Why carry weights? They give water on the plane, upon arrival at the airport you can buy it, any store in the city is full.
Prices are 4-9 pounds for 1-2 liters.
normal water "Baraka" and "nestle"

More juices: 6-7 pounds are not tasty, take 10-12 pounds per box, I don’t remember the name, we fell in love with Mango

they let us in with water at the airport... and they didn't even say anything... but, our favorite juice is guava juice.
if we eat with children, then we take a "frutonic nanny" with us))
but, so the water there is quite drinkable (the lid should be a vacuum film closing).

And we asked our hotel guide what they drink ... he said that they drink tap water, they are already used to it! On the 3rd day, we also began to boil water from the tap for coffee-tea and it was fine! And Mivina was brewed on the same water (we had HB). I don’t know how anyone’s stomach is, but I sometimes have a reverse reaction from a change in food and its abundance, I have to use a laxative !!! :-)))))
The last time I specifically chose a hotel in the old town! There are many cheap shops, fruit markets, cheap fresh juices! Here are the fruits and juices that saved my stomach from the "reverse" reaction ":-))))

or type in the cooler (it's free)
