What do you mean by "regular" visa?
Regardless of where you will issue it, it will be the so-called Schengen visa.
аватар fesenko.anna02
the consular fee of the embassy is 700 UAH. Visa in any case Schengen

Venice - meet me! I'm flying to you!

Visa to the countries of the European Community, called only Schengen. There are no ordinary ones. Documents for receipt are submitted either directly to the Italian Embassy ( http://www.ambkiev.esteri.it/Ambasciata_Kiev), or to the Visa Application Center of the Italian Embassy ( http://www.italyvac-ua.com). There is an opinion that it is easier to get a visa through the Visa Center. But I can tell you about this a little later.
On 10/07/2010, I independently applied for a visa (tourist) to the Visa Application Center (the list of documents is on the website, if you have questions, you can call there or I will answer you). I paid 35 Euro (the visa itself) + 21 Euro + 20% VAT (Visa Center services). Additional services (optional) UAH 20 - SMS control of the status of your documents, UAH 50 - courier services (if you cannot pick up your passport yourself). If the documents are collected correctly, then everything is very simple. I applied for a maximum of 15 minutes. Near the visa center I called a lot (no offense to them), but it’s better not to use their services.

And in order to travel to Italy on your own (without a travel agency), you must:
- book the hotel directly (www.booking.com)
- redeem air tickets (currently the cheapest option is Wizzair www.wizzair.com) Here's an advice, when choosing the date of the flight, add to the amount of 173 UAH (one-way baggage fee).
- take out insurance for at least 2 weeks (even if you are traveling for fewer days).
Everything goes according to the list:
- 2 photos (3.5 x 4.5), as for a passport.
- questionnaire (form on the site), but pay attention to the A3 SIZE !!!!!
- a copy of the international passport (ALL pages, even blank ones).
- Ukrainian passport (page with marks).
- certificate of employment (position, salary).
- certificate of salary (for half a year).
- a copy of the labor (certified by the seal of the company).
- a bank statement (availability of a credit card and funds).
- an extract from the bank on the movement of money on the card (for half a year).
- a copy of the credit card.
There must be no less on the account (approximately 50 euros on the day of arrival in Italy, it is possible in UAH)
If there is no credit card, you need traveler's checks (bought at the bank, for the same amount).
- copy of St. about marriage.
- copy of St. about the birth of children.
- copies of docks on "maino" - car, apartment, land ...
All Ukrainian documents must be translated into English or Italian.

Oh, like EVERYTHING!
Yeah, translations can be in free form.
When everything is ready, call the Visa Application Center and make an appointment. Arrive at the appointed time (Zavodskaya St., 8), go QUICKLY past the barkers (with the answer "Thank you! Everything is OK with me") and immediately go inside. Your number. That's it! Good luck! Yes, please note that you need to wait for an answer from 10 to 30 business days! This must be taken into account when buying air tickets and booking a hotel. If the Embassy refuses a visa, the cost is not compensated (although you can take out insurance, in case getting a visa). But I didn't do it. Once again - GOOD LUCK TO YOU and everyone who is planning a trip to Italy! I hope my list will help someone!
аватар Anetka-gan
this year, italy refused many visas, many received them with a big delay (including plane tickets burned through).
аватар Vik07
Thank you all very much. If I manage to fly, then next year - in the spring, I wanted to know everything in advance.
аватар Anetka-gan
things might change next year. Little whether still what law accept. you start monitoring everything in 2 months
аватар aa555aa
Anetka-gan has already given similar parting words recently on the forum in the section "Visas ...", so to speak "cheered" people up! As a result, the girl received a visa (she was her first at all)! Like this! Vik07 - positive mood to you.
And Anetka-gan's advice (and not for the first time) - carefully read the author's question and answer in the subject, and not for show.
аватар Anetka-gan
well, they take me with enviable constancy for a tour operator, it’s not surprising to take me for the ambassador of the entire Schengen! =) but I'm kind, I'll give visas to everyone!!
аватар Anetka-gan
aa555aa since when do I issue visas?? you are confusing something. and there are visa denials, read the forum, or wait longer under the embassy.
your so-called "encouragement" ... for the fact that there may be a refusal, everyone should be ready, and in order not to get it prepared correctly and in full document. with me, visas were refused by those who already had Schengen and Italian as well.
it seems you are chasing me on the forum in an attempt to hurt =)
аватар elenako
I agree with Anetka-gan - spring is still far away, and the Italian embassy does not always issue visas.
It is a pity that Anetka-gan does not issue these visas, otherwise there would be more chances to get them.
аватар aa555aa
Anetka-gan - you misunderstood me.
I'm not chasing you, I'm just also going to Italy (I already submitted a package of documents - on my own, I didn't stand under the embassy :))), and before that I went to the forum, the fourth section is called "Visas and Passports", select the country Italy from the list and the first question is written by a certain ElenaMV who should have had this visa first in her passport. So here you are, in the same way as now you are setting up a person for the fact that he will be refused. (I don’t know where you get such arguments without facts, something in your reviews of Italy is not visible). As a result, the girl was upset, but she GOT a visa!!! So, I mean that personally I would not be pleased to receive such a deliberately negative attitude, especially from people who did not have personal experience of traveling to this country. And if you are sure that the embassy often refuses, then be kind enough to back up your assumptions with arguments. I'm sorry if I offended you in any way.
аватар Anetka-gan
you a priori cannot offend me, because your posts don't make much sense to me =)
about "And if you are sure that the embassy often refuses, then be kind enough to back up your assumptions with arguments." write this to everyone who unsubscribed in the same topic =)
and if you do not have to filter the information, these are your personal intimate problems.
and am I obligated to write about all my trips and experiences in obtaining visas?
аватар aa555aa
Sorry, but there are 0 (zero) arguments from you.
The essence of the remark was only that to a person’s question: “Which visa (Schengen or regular) is easier and cheaper to obtain in Ukraine without a travel agency? What is the cost?”, You answer: “this year Italy refused many visas, many with a long delay (including burning out plane tickets)" (firstly, off topic, and secondly, you discourage people's desires, even thinking about the possibility and reality of such a trip). :)))) I don't know which of us doesn't know how to filter... It seems to me that I answered Vik07's question in the most accessible and "on topic" way.
P.S. And based on the forum, only people who were framed by their travel agency did not receive visas (it turned out to be not accredited at the Italian embassy and, in fact, the embassy itself had nothing to do with it) and a woman who submitted documents a little late. All the rest (10-15 people who wrote on the forum received visas). Here are the facts for you.
аватар Olenka-Olenka
I agree with aa555aa, by the way, thanks for the detailed list! Super! Although I don't think you should have messed with Anetka-gan, I think her blog photo is true! A normal person wouldn't post something like that!
аватар Vik07
Oh, I did not think that my question would cause such a lively discussion. I am going abroad for the first time, and I have not applied for any visas before. Any intel will be helpful. I understand that something may change until next year, but I don’t think it will be drastically, and of course there are refusals, this is understandable and true.
Thanks again. Do not swear.
аватар elenako
And that in Italy everyone gets a Schengen?
If the documents are questionable, then a visa is not always given.
Even if the documents are in order, this is not a guarantee of obtaining a visa.
Those who have already received a visa can talk about jitters these days. I was twice in Italy, once in Sicily, and at the airport already at their passport control they could doubt your ability to pay and not let you into the country.
аватар elenako
If you are going abroad for the first time, choose a country where Schengen is given without problems - the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, you can go to Montenegro or Croatia. Turkey and Egypt are no problem at all.
Good luck choosing!
аватар Anetka-gan
aa555aa lady you are so funny)) you made my day today)) would be more such clowness)))
question about italian visa? about Italian. I answered about Italian? About Italian! but I can about others =) ask!
discourage the desire of those who do not have faith in themselves, who do not know how to achieve something. These are people from the category that treat cancer on the Internet =)))
from what forum? don't be stupid))) a lot of people just don't write on the forums!! and refusals were received by both those who filed on their own, and those who applied through an agency.
аватар Vik07
elenako Why do I need visas from other countries if I need specifically to Italy? And even if you apply for a visa through the embassy of Poland or Hungary or other countries, you will first have to enter the country that issued the visa, and then fly to Italy. I do not need it.
аватар elenako
Of course, if you are confident in your documents and are firmly convinced that the Italian embassy will open a visa for you, then forgive me my advice. It's just that if there are other Schengen visas in your passport, you are more likely to get an Italian one.
Have a good trip!
