We were in December and this year at the end of April. There is no pontoon, the stairs didn’t bother us in any way, it’s quite normal, the pontoon was said to have been carried away to the sea. We arrived on 05/28/11. We really liked it, the staff is friendly, they speak Russian normally, the waiters in the Cal restaurant are friendly, they meet, they invite us to a free table. There was always enough food, lots of fruit. A very beautiful coral reef, but we didn’t sit on the “crazy stool” that runs along the pier: it’s better to walk for 5 minutes and admire the views of the sea.
