"Corporate on Egyptian soil. " Once again, it was decided to visit fraternal Egypt with a friendly visit. The hotel was chosen by a group of comrades for a corporate trip of the company and like-minded people.
The total composition of the group - 18 people, a team from different cities, but rallied in a foreign land and practically became related to departure!
We flew from Moscow with a smaller train, from Sheremetyevo F (an excellent terminal, no crowds and queues !!! ), Transaero was very pleased with the new business class, everything was at a decent level.
We got to the hotel by taxi, the time difference with the arrival of the transfer bus is 50 minutes.
Hotel Sunny Days Palma de Miritta, 4 * - a good four, with a compact comfortable area, good rooms (needing renovation), friendly staff and good food!
Photos from the site correspond to reality, the reviews are also adequate. I will not recommend for a visit, I myself prefer hotels of a higher level. But I didn’t find anything negative, the rest was wonderful, thanks to a good company, although with adventures!
Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool and sea. With a huge balcony, a large room, but a tiny bathroom and an ugly shower with a curtain. Beds are large and comfortable.
Solid wood furniture, decent, but requires staining and varnishing. Big red ants lived in the bathroom, but they didn’t interfere with us, didn’t bite, and we didn’t bring them home, so it’s not critical!
The food is good, no poisoning, the choice is small, but the dishes are delicious. There are practically no queues in the restaurant, finding a table is not a problem.
Two pools, but we didn’t swim. clean, pleasant, not very warm, but comfortable.
We rented a large yacht for a company, we liked it very much! The yacht was chic, the food was good, the fishing was not successful, we caught two fish, took a picture and let them go.
Three times they swam in the open sea, the third time they got into the undercurrents, three had to be saved, the current pulled to the side, they panicked, it’s good that there were experienced swimmers, everything ended fine. There is practically no seasickness on the yacht, three floors, each cabin has a large hall with tables. It is great to sunbathe on the upper deck.
In the sea, while they were swimming, there was a breeze, but the sun was hot, and when they returned to the shore, the wind blew off their feet, they moored for a long time.
We went to the fish market in Marina twice. What a variety there! Of course, it cannot be compared with Southeast Asia, but the choice of fish and seafood is impressive!
We bought king prawns, large fish, shells, squids, large blue crabs, lobsters. All this splendor was prepared for us in the same market, for purely symbolic money, carefully packaged. We brought all this yummy to the hotel and mentally used it with beer and others drinks while sitting at the pool bar!
Losses accompanied us throughout the trip. The guys lost the key to the room, they had to make a duplicate. The girl in the taxi dropped her passport (there were 300 bucks and a credit card for 80 tyr inside), they didn’t find it and didn’t return it. I had to go to Cairo to the consulate twice to get certificates for leaving Egypt. Since February, new rules, you need to have with you the original Russian passport or a copy certified by the FMS. A drunk friend lost a backpack with money, and in pursuit, the guys forgot the phone near the safe upon departure. Merry!
On March 7, the whole company went to the Fish Restaurant to Mario, to celebrate the birthday of Mitya, the boss's son. I highly recommend this restaurant !!!
Delicious dishes, huge plates - fish or meat to choose from, appetizers and salads without restrictions, two types of soups: crab and vegetable. Fruits and desserts. This pleasure costs 25 bucks per adult, children are free, although they are brought separate plates of hot food. Invited artists perform, Belly Dance and Dance with Skirts. Very colorful and emotional!!!
At the end, they brought out a cake to the birthday man and congratulated the entire restaurant team to the incendiary Arabic songs! Anything you don't eat can be taken away if you wish.
