what is located near the hotel?
Tell me, are there shops outside the hotel, fruit sales? Sitting in the hotel is stressful, so you want to get out of its territory. Can you buy strawberries in November? I must say right away - I will not go to Hurghada)))))))

Yes, you can buy strawberries in November. In Sharm, this is the Old Market, as well as Naama Bay.

we will have a rest in Hurghada. I meant to the city by taxi)))))) Are there fruit shops near the hotels?

The hotel is actually located in Hurghada itself, to the Marina, about 10 minutes, you can walk. There are a lot of shops near the hotel, but mostly souvenir shops, to the right of the hotel near Arabia, there are two small grocery stores. The nearest fruit stalls near King Tut- it’s to the left (if you stand with your back to the hotel). And in vain you are so categorical about Hurghada, there’s nothing wrong there. And, by the way, strawberries are offered right on the beach at the hotel, but of course, you won’t choose a better tray on the beach.

At the hotel you can take a taxi for 5 USD, which will take you to the center where you want and take you back when you say, and next to the hotel there are also souvenir shops where you can also bargain to a minimum and buy even more profitable than in the city. The hotel is good.

Don't be afraid of the city. Only, of course, it’s better to go there together, at least not in miniskirts, otherwise they’ll get it with whistles and exclamations. On the main road (a little walk up from Sunny Days) there are minibuses that go to the "sakkala" center for 1 pound - 1/5 bucks (which is much cheaper than 5 USD for a taxi). We sat down, arrived in 5 minutes - everything is nearby, got out, and here is Sheraton Street, everything you want is on it and no one has the right to touch you. There will also be normal fruit stands. And next to the hotel, there is nothing like that, only the hotel offers more expensive of course (at the Sheraton we took it for 5 pounds - about one buck, the hotel cost 5 bucks). If you are categorically against Hurghada, then only take it in a hotel 5 times more expensive

where can I get these pounds? Well, we got there, but how to explain back what I need in such and such a hotel: they don’t understand Russian)))))) Yes, and the drivers are still those racers, no matter how the outing turns out to be to the city one way

Well, actually, the monetary unit of Egypt is Pounds (I don’t know why pound). Dollars can be exchanged for pounds both at the airport and in the hotel in the barn, if necessary, but, believe me, dollars go wonderfully there :) And the taxi driver just say the name of the hotel, they understand everything perfectly :) And in Russian, many understand, even sometimes more than necessary :))))

The monetary unit of Egypt is the Egyptian pound (LE) or pound, as it is also called (from the English "pound" -pound). Dollars are also accepted for payment, but prices are higher in them and they try not to give change. That is, if, for example, a souvenir costs 7 pounds (about 1.2 bucks), then they will charge you rounded up - 2 bucks. And so everywhere. When you buy a carload of souvenirs, the difference is palpable. It is more profitable to buy in their currency. And plus, they already have a slightly different attitude if the "idiot foreigner" guessed to exchange denyushka. There is an exchanger right in the hotel.
Taxi drivers are very understanding. Moreover, you don’t speak Russian when voicing the name of the hotel - Sunny Days El Palacio))) It’s better to say “El Palacio” right away, because there are other hotels starting with “Sunny”. And don't worry too much about going out into the city, behave decently, don't hang around unfamiliar Hurghada at night and everything will be ok!

And yes, drivers drive, but not so much that one way when they have a passenger in the car. In addition, there is one-way traffic almost everywhere, no one will fly in the forehead. In a taxi, sit in the back, in front - indecent, you can give a reason to think that you can drive up to you

Thank you so much for the information! Only in my imagination that there is a desert immediately outside the hotel and where God knows where to catch this taxi)))))) And they will also look at my frightened eyes (since I don’t navigate the terrain, for the first time abroad and in Egypt respectively) - they will reconnoiter in full ..... In which direction is the city, where they are taking it, where they left it .... Scary

margusha, don’t be afraid, people also relax there and people work in the hotel, including Russians. Ask, don’t be shy, everyone will tell you, everyone will tell you. brush them off :)))) And if you threaten something, call the tourist policy, they are afraid of it there, by the way, the phones of this very policy are usually in the tourist voucher. Taxi in Hurghada is no more than 2 dollars to any part of the city, and ahead don't sit down. And outside the hotel, opposite the Mirette Hotel, On the one hand, the Azur hotel chain, Sunny Days Palma, and the city beach. I rested in Sunny Days Palma and I know the surrounding area. Have a good rest, more positive and everything will be ok. And one more piece of advice, but still don’t tell the sellers in the shops that you are in Yegi for the first time, otherwise the prices will rise :))))
