Rested at Shedwan Garden Hotel with TEZ-tour. I was very disappointed in the tour operator, to be honest, I used to consider TEZ-tour the most reliable company in the field of tourism, now I can say the opposite with full responsibility!

TOURISTS! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR HOLIDAY! There are much better hotels in Hurghada and, oddly enough, even cheaper! And yet, if you have the opportunity to choose a tour operator - DO NOT CHOOSE TEZ-TOUR IN ANY EVENT! When I was choosing a hotel, I was given a TEZ-tour catalog for 2007 (I went at the end of February-beginning of March 2007), it was according to this book that I chose the hotel. I chose between Sunrise Holiday, Alibaba, Shedwan hotels and there are several more options. Moreover, I want to draw attention to the fact that Shedwan Garden cost an average of 100 dollars more than all other hotels. I was also told that the service in this hotel is closer to European and higher than in other proposed hotels!!!

In accordance with the TEZ-tour catalog, only one main building should be located on the territory of the Shedwan Garden 4 * hotel, what was my surprise when they settled me in three-story bungalows, which, again, in accordance with the same TEZ-tour catalog, already belong to located next to the Shedwan Golden Beach Hotel and have 3* status!! ! When I saw the first room in which they tried to check me in, I refused it, they offered me a few more rooms that were no different from the first, the same ragged shacks. In the end, I just got tired of dragging my suitcase and warm clothes from room to room and decided to wait for the guide. In my naivety, I decided that it was just a mistake, that a guide would come and I would be settled in a room corresponding to my ticket.

In the evening, a guide appeared, besides me, a whole crowd of disgruntled Russians like me gathered, but the guide was not at all surprised!
The guide claimed that these bungalows belong to the four-star Shedwan Garden Hotel and that all rooms (in the bungalow and in the main building) in this hotel are considered standard. He also claimed with full confidence that the travel agencies that sent us to this hotel were warned about the presence of a bungalow in this hotel and that the rooms in the bungalow are much worse than in the main building and that they can accommodate tourists in any of the standard rooms, in general, reduced everything to the fact that the travel agencies that sent us were aware in advance that we would be accommodated in these bungalows, but due to their bad faith, they hid this fact from us!

Nevertheless, already when I arrived home, I again opened the yellow book "TEZ-tour 2007 EGYPT". Page 70-71 - description of the Shedwan Garden 4 * hotel - I write verbatim according to the catalog: "The main 4-storey building, only 139 rooms ... " - there is not a word written about any bungalows!
Moreover, half of the services listed in the catalog are not available at the hotel, such as: 1. there was no hair dryer in the room, 2. there was no minibar, 3. there was no safe in the room, 4. daily cleaning of the room - nothing like that, my room was cleaned after 2 days after I told the guide that the room was not cleaned, before that they just took away dirty towels, while clean ones were not put. 5. Change of linen daily - they never changed it, even when I checked into the room, the linen was unwashed with stains! .

Longer-more - I open pages 98-99 in the same catalog - a description of the Shedwan Golden Beach 3 * hotel - this is where a large photograph of the very bungalows in which we were all settled flaunts, claiming that this all refers to the Shedwan Garden Hotel 4*! Moreover, there is no longer a single photo of the numbers, because if you print a picture of the number, not a single fool will go there of his own free will and for his own money!
There is only one conclusion from all this - the TEZ-tour company deceived us, everything that is written in their catalog for Egypt is a complete lie !! ! But just the same "unscrupulous" travel agency reacted instantly to my call from Egypt - within an hour they rebooked my hotel and transported me to normal conditions! And in this situation, I tend to believe that they really did not know about the existence of problems with check-in at this hotel, but TEZ-tour deliberately deceives tourists!

1. HOTEL ROOM:
Firstly, it was very dirty - the toilet, shower and sink were covered in dust and dirt, the window was dusty to such an extent that nothing could be seen through it, pistachio skins were scattered on the terrace, the railing on the terrace was covered in lime after whitewashing the walls, dirty linen (apparently not washed), towels had a dirty gray tint (I had to run to buy myself a towel),
Secondly, everything is very old and kotsany, although this is not the worst thing, it would be clean, and one could suffer.
Thirdly, the plumbing in the room was faulty - the shower did not work, the drain in the toilet did not work either, the water in the sink somehow ran. On the second day, due to my numerous requests at the reception, the shower was “repaired” to me, after that the water began to flow out onto the floor from somewhere and the whole room was filled with water and again became uninhabitable! I was lucky to take a shower after the plane only on the 2nd day of my stay in Egypt, thanks to my compatriots who allowed me to use the shower in their room! The door to the terrace was also broken and taped shut so it wouldn't close.
Even there in the room there were eerie-looking candles in some dirty bowls, it turned out that the hotel regularly turns off the lights!

2. SERVICE IN THE HOTEL:
- Attitude - They simply hate Russians.

As it turned out later, they put us in these bungalows because we are Russians!! ! Witnesses, they fundamentally do not lodge Russian tourists in normal rooms! Moreover, they do not even hide their hostility towards the Russians! In a restaurant, you will be served last, they may even pretend that they forgot about you. Every day I had to deal with rudeness. Already on the last day of my stay at the hotel, there was just a shocking precedent: I asked for whiskey and cola at the bar on the beach, to which the bartender rolled his eyes and said: "Whiskey? ! Moning? ! Russian?! ", after which he made a gesture showing that it was good I wish I could get out of the bar as soon as possible and spit on the trail. The Germans standing around the bar neighed in unison, I was just in shock ...In Egypt, in general, Russians are not very favored, but they don’t allow themselves such frank rudeness in normal hotels.

3. RESTAURANT and FOOD:
In principle, everything is varied and surprisingly even something edible.
But unwashed dishes are not uncommon in this hotel - very often just dirty dishes came across! The cutlery (knives and forks) are all bent and scratched, what they did with them - I don't know. We somehow ordered wine, they brought us an incomplete glass with someone else's lipstick! Even in any normal hotel you will be asked not to appear in the restaurant even in woolen and shales, I'm not talking about swimwear! Immediately, some Germans appeared in the restaurant with a naked torso and no one even said a word to them, because they are Germans ...It's not very pleasant to see half-naked old men while eating, I'll tell you ...

Due to the fact that you can not drink water from the tap in the bar, they had to give bottled water to take with you to your room.
In fact, taking water is not an easy procedure - at first the bartender will pretend that he does not understand you, then he will thrust you a glass of water, and if you are lucky, he will eventually give you a bottle, and if you are not lucky, he will pretend that he did not understand you (even if you speak English). With the Russian language there, it’s generally strained completely - not a single person in the hotel speaks Russian, and without knowing English, you won’t even be able to order tea until you speak English, they simply won’t even listen to you, out of principle!

4. TERRITORY AND BEACH:
Indeed, the territory is large, but not very well-groomed. Towels on the beach when you hand them over are neatly folded and immediately given to the next tourist. On one of the hotel's beaches, you can watch the locals splashing in the dirty sea water right in their clothes and staring at you with curiosity.
