There is basically nothing to buy in Hurghada. That is, there is a lot of goods, but 90% made in rank. The leather is of very low quality, except for the hookah, I do not recommend it anymore.

Change your hotel ASAP! I didn’t rest there, but I was on the territory. Horror! You will do everything before the return flight at the airport - and the prices are normal and you will kill time. In Egypt, good cotton - towels, T-shirts. Don't take oil - it's nonsense.

You need to go around a bunch of shops, ask the price, bargain and not buy. And before departure, buy a hookah and others like it (just be sure to check whether it is going to and whether all the details are there), coffee beans (has an original taste), you will be on excursions in the monasteries of Saints Anthony and Paul - church wine, green mango (what would fly fine). But the prices in Hurghada are high.
I do not recommend buying oils, honey, hibiscus, leather - it's expensive, you can buy better and better quality in Ukraine. Yes, this also applies to other rags.

And if you go through the entire beach of Lilly Land, then again through a hole in the fence you will fall into the Golden Five - you can ride down the hills there (until they kick you out))))))

Right next to the entrance to the hotel (near the arch) there are several shops, in one the owner introduces himself as Grisha Faori, we bought good quality T-shirts for $ 3-4, coral slippers for $ 4 and various souvenirs from him. The main thing is bargaining.

I'm not confusing anything. I paid for Rimover 4 * 40 thousand for 2 weeks in April. I have never seen worse than this hotel in my life. Therefore, I consider it my duty to warn people, because you can change for another before it's too late, than later regret. We didn't expect anything special, but what we saw was just an unpleasant aftertaste! Read my review in another post, everything is described in detail there.

We also abandoned Rimavera at the last moment, despite the fact that we were very agitated for this hotel in the travel agency, all that remained was to deposit money. We took the Roma hotel, at least it has received nothing lately, although the rating is generally low. For the last 2 months, everyone has only scolded Rimavera, I have not seen ratings higher than 1.7 anywhere :(

Well, if the tourist is unpretentious and nothing can be changed, then you should not despair. You are not going to live there, but for a week or two at most. More time can be spent on the beach or on excursions, so now! don't set yourself up for the worst!
Read the reviews, pay attention to the cons, stock up on what you can: take a mug with you, a spoon, towels, shampoo, etc. Well, good mood! Nobody canceled the Red Sea))) and this, they say, is the most important thing in Egypt :)

Sun, sea and water are best friends! In general, be afraid of wolves, do not go into the forest! I think that it will not be worse than "Konar Duruk" in Turkey (Kemer). And upon arrival I will write a review about the January weather too.
