Need advice on choosing a room
A huge request to connoisseurs and lovers of Jungle - help with choosing a room. Soon, for the first time, I will have a trip to this hotel :) I am going with a companion, who has a very negative attitude towards power lines and the road. In this regard, I would like to know which rooms are located close to power lines and the highway. If possible, I would like to settle away from them and closer to the water park, preferably in one-story bungalows. From the reviews, we realized that there are rooms for 6 near the water park. How do they fit our requirements and what other rooms can we recommend in our situation? Thanks in advance.

The power line in relation to the hotel is quite close (after all, the hotel is on the 3rd line). Not overhead, but close. We lived in room 2055, close to the water park, in a family room. At the reception, having heard Russian speech, they immediately hint at a "gift". Therefore, it is quite fashionable to express your wishes and get a normal number. Although now they are already settled in rooms near the water park, since the hotel is 25% full. Rooms 6001-6253 are closest to the water park, but far from restaurants and under the very fence. I recommend numbers 2001-2214. At the reception you will be given a map of the hotel where you can see everything. In general, this is a purely family hotel. The adult water park is not all open now.

LeAndra77, thanks for the reply. With regards to the gift - do they hint at a monetary equivalent ($ 10-20), or are chocolates / alcohol suitable? I have been to a similar hotel in Sharm twice before, where I managed to get the room you want thanks to a smile and good English - here, as I understand it, this does not work?
And I was very upset by the fact that the water park is not all working - is this due to the low fullness of the hotel? And how many slides work? It’s just that two ardent fans of slides are flying with me, and I don’t mind riding them, but here it is ...
аватар LeAndra77
Well, of course money :)))) Do you know how hungry they are here without Russians? :))) And English does not work - I tried. They see our passport - and that's it - baksheesh! (we taught them). And not to give dumb - they can settle where finally no one lives (even the pools are not cleaned). And somehow you don’t want to start your vacation with a scandal.
The water park is open from 10 to 17. In the morning there are about 4 slides, and in the afternoon they include another 4-5. Personally, I quickly got bored.

And you were, I understand, there quite recently? If they have such troubles on the slides there, then what is the situation with food and buses to the beach - there is no such thing that, due to the small number of residents, only 1 restaurant works out of all, and the bus runs every three hours (I exaggerate of course) and carries 1 vacationer ?
And another question about the room - among those rooms that you recommend, are there those that are separated by a curtain and have 3 or 4 beds? Or are all the rooms of the same plan in the hotel?

Yes, you are right, we returned last week. I want to say that the small occupancy of the hotel, in addition to saving water and energy in the water park, had a positive effect on everything else: there are always free sunbeds by the pools and on the beach, buses go to the beach regularly, even with 1 person (more than 10 min never waited), there are 2-3 restaurants, several bars, but more is not needed. There are no problems with the amount of food and its variety. Don't even worry about it. No pressure or queues. Everything is calm and sincere, as it should be on vacation.
As for the numbers, I can't tell you exactly. In the photo of the hotel, I saw that there are also those where everyone is in one room. We just specifically asked for a room with one large bed and children behind a curtain - they gave it to us.

As for restaurants - you reassured me. Just remembered the first visit to Egypt in the Titanic Water Park. The hotel is good, but the whole impression was spoiled by the restaurant. It is 1 for the whole hotel, and if it was possible to dine relatively without problems, since many ate in bars or went on excursions, then in the evening the “meat” literally began. To get to dinner, people queued up half an hour before the opening, so those who did not have time were late, and they had to stand and wait at the door for 30 minutes, and sometimes up to an hour (how many people came out - so many were let in). It was possible to get to the closing line without a queue, but there was little left of food. After that, the five-year-old daughter said: “Let's go where there are slides, but you don’t have to take food by storm” :) After that, we were twice in Sharmovsky Albatros Aquapark, but now because of the sharks it’s somehow scary to go there, but I want the sea and slides , and now they went over to the Jungle. We really hope you enjoy it here.
Slightly off topic question - what was the weather like during your stay? Is it really possible to swim in the sea, is it not cold to go out because of the wind?
аватар LeAndra77
There was a wind, the first 2 days it was quite strong, then it seemed to weaken (or we are used to it :)))) They say that it is always like this in March. Because of the wind, it was very disgusting to go in and out of the sea (the water itself was normal. Not cold, but disgusting :)) Yes, we went to the sea only 3-4 times. We mostly hung out near the children's water park - the little one enjoyed the slides, and we - the lack of wind.

I completely agree with the opinion on the numbers from LeAndra77. These are the best. If the hotel was full, then as an option, you can consider rooms for 3xxx and only then for 1xxx. Near the water park at 6xxx - nonsense, there is no personal pool. And the power line, if my memory serves me right, is located above the numbers on 1xxx.
аватар Masita
valentina74, thanks for the information on power lines and numbers.
And near which rooms is that buzzing noisy road that everyone complains about?
аватар LeAndra77
Road? It seems like it's far from the roads ... There is an inner one around the hotel, but only staff in minicars travel along it. Maybe the numbers on 1XXX, which are closest to the track? Here is the noise from the landing planes - yes. But you can't get away from it :)
аватар Masita
I read about the road in some review (I can’t remember on which resource) that they settled the family in a room near the fence, where on the one hand there was a garbage dump, and on the other hand there was a highway with trucks that constantly beeped and vibrated from the noise and the walls shook day and night. And the kids didn't get much sleep. Therefore, I try to find out in advance where such super-apartments are located, so as not to get there out of ignorance ...
And I’m fine with airplanes - you don’t pay much attention to them during the day, but at night it seems like the intensity of their flights decreases, and in the room it shouldn’t be heard like that.
When we were in Sharm, the planes flew high there and they were not heard, but every hour at 5 in the morning, the mullahs in the three mosques surrounding the hotel began to sing into the loudspeaker, that was the sound :D
аватар Masita
Thanks for the comments - with the numbers the picture has finally formed :)
One more thing I would like to clarify: is there soap, shampoos and shower gels in the bathroom? - or do you need to take it with you, since this hotel does not practice this?
аватар LeAndra77
The bathroom has all of the above. And the shower gel is of a very decent quality :)

Only 5 days left before departure. The local advice helped a lot - a lot has already been laid out in my head on the shelves, as a guide to action.
There was one more question (I don’t want to post a separate question): is the passage to the territory of neighboring Leila officially allowed or not? There was infa about some kind of secret gate through which people went there to the evening show. I would like to know where it is located and whether it is functioning at the moment? Or the shop has already been closed ...
