We were in Almaty a year ago. they say it is the oldest, but I did not come to look at the furniture. The main thing is that the sea is within easy reach, two steps to the pool with slides.

We rested in Paradise, then in Topaz. I really liked Topaz. The newest hotel. The rooms are two-room, remoteness from the main complex has its advantages. After the hustle and bustle, relaxing in silence is beauty. Walking through the date grove to the beach was not at all annoying, especially since there is also a bus every half an hour.

When the child was small, we often visited Golden because of the proximity to the sea and the cool territory, there is where to walk with a stroller in the evening. As for me, the new Topaz is better, but further. If there are no huge requests, then you can go to the old complex, closer to the sea and slides (but not Diamond) :)
