FESTIVAL RIVIERE is located in the new district of Hurghada, where only hotels have been built, it takes about 15 minutes by taxi to the city itself. There are a lot of unfinished buildings nearby, but this is very typical for Egypt - finding hotels so that there is no construction nearby is problematic. There is no pier. The Arabs are lazily finishing it, but judging by the pace of their work, it will be in twenty years. I can’t even believe that once their predecessors could build pyramids!
The hotel itself is divided into three hotels on the same territory: actually FESTIVAL RIVIERE Front - it is on the first line, FESTIVAL RIVIERE BED - it is on the second (there is only a building with rooms, a pool, a bar) and FESTIVAL le Jardin (on the first) - everything is the same and in the Riviera, and as already mentioned, you can use all the services of both hotels, except for the main restaurants.
The territory is huge, a lot of greenery - palm trees, bushes, flowers, grass. Add 6 more pools near the Riviera, one near Jardin and one near Bede and you get a very picturesque place.

The building, the rooms are good, the plumbing did not fail.
And we lived in three doubles - and there were no problems anywhere. We had two rooms on the 4th floor overlooking the Jardin, and one on the ground floor with access to the pool. I liked this option the most.
Service in the main restaurant, splash bars - can be improved by paying a tip to the waiter (we gave 5 bucks and he remembered us all and always served instantly).
But I want to remind you once again that we are in another country and we cannot relax, because fooling a tourist is the business of the local population. The most common schemes are currency conversion calculations, I had to prove to the owner of the splash bar on a calculator that 70 pounds is not 14 euros, but 14 dollars. He divided 70 by 5 and received 14 dollars, and he told me the euro. And before that, I found out that we had a plane soon (we were already without bracelets) and obviously dragged on time.
Only after they explained to him in English for the tenth time that the euro costs 7 pounds (even at their extortionate rate), he reluctantly took 10 euros and left. As for the taxi - it costs $10 to get to McDonald's, and $15 to Sekala, but the joke is that this is the same place!!!!
It was alarming that everyone, from cleaners to guides, offered hashish (even already at the airport.
Very sticky Arabs, very!!! ! It turns out that they can’t even stroke a woman’s hand, otherwise they will have to get married, and this is expensive. So they strive to either stroke or hug. Very annoying.
A little advice - if you go into the shops - the first thing they ask is - is this your first time in Egypt? I advise he says that at least the third, then the prices will be called twice as low.

I recommend the hotel to everyone who can put up with the lack of a chic sea, replacing it with a lot of entertainment throughout the day (volleyball, aerobics, dancing and all that), swimming pools.

Restaurants, bars - they worked well, I really liked the kitchen - there was meat, seafood, and fruits (sliced, whole, you can buy a large plate in the splash bar for 5 bucks). There are juices from packages, and there are also powder ones (those in coolers).
I liked the animators - I remembered Elizabeth, on the tour - Christina always helped a lot.
Good luck with your choice.
