Airlines and excursions
Hi all!
I'm flying to Hurghada for the first time!!!! 12 May!
Airlines Wizz Air Ukraine - who knows something - tell us about this company, since everyone has mixed reviews.
And I would also like to know about excursions: where is it better to order - from operators, on the spot, or in advance via the Internet!
I really need advice!!!!!

I want to give you off-topic advice, since this is your first time flying to Egypt
Take with you or buy a snorkel mask there, it will help you to see the beauties of the sea.
Book excursions on the spot, don’t take a lot, it’s tiring to go in the heat.
We also fly that day to Hurghada.
Happy holiday!

I have never used the services of Wizzair Ukraine, but I heard only positive reviews. This is a low-cost airline (an airline that offers a fairly low ticket price by refusing some services: for example, meals on board, the presence of one passenger class on the plane, or, sometimes, the absence of a seat number on the ticket). Flights by such companies are quite popular, excellent value for money. About excursions. In Turkey, they took excursions both in street travel agencies and from their tour operator, but in Egypt, somehow they didn’t dare, and they took it through a hotel guide (Turtess) and I advise you to take it at your hotel, it will be calmer. We went on two excursions: Cairo (air) and Luxor (bus). Both excursions were very pleasant, I can safely advise them to you. Have a nice rest.

We also took excursions through a hotel guide, also Cairo - by air (there were 2 days), in Cairo - pyramids, a papyrus workshop, a perfume shop, a museum with golden sarcophagi and an evening walk on a large boat along the Nile with entertainment and dinner - I RECOMMEND! We went to Luxor by bus - also liked it! Be sure to take an excursion - a boat trip (for the whole day) with a visit to coral reefs and islands in the sea (diving or just with a mask). BUT! Another ATV trip to the desert for the whole day, with a visit to the Bedouin village, camel ride. You meet the evening in the desert, the moon rises, and you go back - it's already dark and the stars are huge, clear, you can see right to the horizon - SUPER!!! Advice: be sure to have light pants, but to the ankles, the top is also light, but the hands are closed, and a scarf on the head is to cover the hair. On the face, too, a scarf, glasses on the eyes - more. Take water with you. On the feet closed shoes, optimally - sneakers.
This applies to men as well. It’s easy to drive, it’s easy to get burned in the desert, plus you still drive in a chain one after another, which is why there is a cloud of dust and sand. But it's worth it! Have a great rest! Come - write reviews!

Diving is not worth taking - it's better to start practicing at home, with an experienced instructor, then you can dive calmly.
I think for your first time, snorkeling would be great.

I took a bunch of excursions (only through a hotel guide - I don’t save on my safety). I was in Cairo (yes, a tiring move, but it's worth it - a crazy city, and although I was not particularly impressed with the pyramids, I was clearly impressed at the Cairo Museum), in Luxor (go down to the tomb, see the Karnak temple, cross by boat through Neil, to see how papyrus is made - I advise everyone), on a boat with glass walls (for the first 10-15 minutes I was delighted in the same way as the kids of 10 years old who were sitting next to me), Show 1001 nights (out of all the programs, only the 2 performances - a male dance with a skirt and the last belly dance - the girl just lit up the hall). Do not take a sightseeing tour of the city, even if it is free: you will only waste your time. And by the way, I do not particularly share the excitement about the jeep safari in the desert.
even though I dressed as I was told (fully covered face, head, light but closed clothes) after returning to the hotel, I barely untangled my hair (I had to pour a loading dose of rinse aid on it), threw away contact lenses (I just couldn’t scrape them off sand). Also, I was terribly hungry, and a bald old Bedouin molested me.
