About everything in order

1. SETTLEMENT
Corruption moment in the settlement of exceptions in principle. No $ 10. The guide simply collects vouchers for the entire bus and gives you the room keys in 15 minutes. We ordered a sea view when buying a ticket and received it - the third floor of the 6th building. So on the first day the nerves are intact, the mood is not spoiled.

2. ROOMS
Well, the "standard" is "standard" in Africa. Decent not old furniture, clean not yellow without holes bed. The safe, however, is not digital, but on the key (as if on Soviet lockers: -), closes with one turn. The bar has one bottle of 1.5 liters of still water. Updated daily. Another nuance - no bath, only a shower, no shower gel or shampoo (take your own), but only liquid soap. The air conditioner works properly. Clean daily. And equally good whether you tip or not.

If you leave, you will get a new figure every day from blankets and towels (or something that will come in handy for a creative cleaner).

3. NUTRITION
The impression that everything is fresh. I didn't notice the traditional hotel salads, but "I was blinded by what happened yesterday. " During each meal there are several points where food is prepared in your presence. In the morning - pancakes, scrambled eggs, omlt; at lunch - vegetables on a garnish, pasta; for dinner - to spread a variety of meat and fish dishes. Meat and fish are always there. Rich selection of sweets. Non-alcoholic beverages are diluted so that the taste is very similar to undiluted: -). Teas are normal, but not very much from coffee. But there is always enough milk to save the situation. In the evening you will be chopped watermelons. When eating in the "main restaurant" is quite crowded, you have to crowd a little, but there is always room in the halls.
In the evening, the tables are covered with tablecloths, which are changed after each vacationer, the staff at this time wears appropriate clothing, on some days - national clothes. In general, a fairly well-organized meal.

4. BATHING
SWIMMING POOLS three. Two of them are quite suitable for swimming. One has a depth of two meters, the other - a standard sports pool - 25 m, a depth of 180 cm. In the evening there is good lighting and fountains. Pools are vacuumed daily with special devices.
The lagoon serves as the main beach. At its two entrances from the sea will be nets that catch garbage. The bottom is lined with roofing material, which is covered with sand. The depth increases gradually. Very good for children. The water is not very clear. From the bridge you can see the fauna of the lagoon, which can be lured by bread.
Flocks of small and fairly large fish and even four squid!

OWN SEA is the weakest link in the hotel. There are two steps to the left and right of the hotel. Livrochu problem is that there is a parking lot for boats and yachts, and on the right is a dead reef, much of the hotel - the shoal. Go into the sea, where you can swim normally, it is possible only on a small section of concrete, and then through the stones for two or three meters to get to the sandy bottom and enjoy the sea. However, there is a problem of garbage. Algae, bottles, plastic bags are brought from the sea and no one cares much to clean the sea from these disgusting things. There are a lot of bottles and flippers lying on the fireplace on the shore. No one cleaned them for several days. Therefore, bathing in the sea is usually no more than 10 people (often 4-5). Thanks to the reef there is something to do for those who have a mask. The fish aren't that many, but they are.

5. STAFF
In the early days, my stereotypes about Egyptian hotel workers were shattered. Educated, friendly, understands the Russian language, and most importantly - unobtrusive. And this applies to everyone, whether it's a receptionist or a guy who gives out towels. No comments at all.

6. COMPOSITION OF HOLIDAYERS
The hotel has chosen a specialization - Russia and Ukraine. There are no foreigners at all, except Moldovans or Armenians: -) And if we talk about Russians, there are many retirees, many young people of pro-Proletarian origin. They create the appropriate mood in the cafeteria and during animation events (about them later). Accordingly, the staff adjusts to the clients, it comes to the point that some post-creative Russian music can play on the beach, and the audience leaves the amphitheater accompanied by songs by Misha Krug. Of course, they go to dinner in shorts and hats.
Summing up, I will say that for me personally it was a negative, but maybe for someone it will be just an opportunity to visit both Egypt and Russia)).

7. ANIMATION
I'm not interested in her at all. Animators are Russian youth under the leadership of an Arab who mentions Moscow every year and calls everything "Moscow". Of more or less noteworthy - the performance of acrobats (once a week). And so the program "Pioneer Camp for Adults", various impromptu competitions such as "The best hotel couple", etc. For children at 20.30 begins a zomiprogram called "Mini-Disco". Why zombies? Just DAILY there are 6-8 of the same songs. The children even began to focus on the songs, whether there was a long time left or not. I am beginning to suspect that this is a kind of global conspiracy - the same songs are heard in all hotels, the same songs were heard last year in Turkey ("A ram zam zam zam" etc). Aqua aerobics is performed in the lagoon. The hotel has a windsurfing and diving school.
Not walking, but I think it's interesting.
CONCLUSION

This hotel is like a country wedding. Everything is full and everyone is having fun, but romance is not worth coming here. The atmosphere is nice but kitschy. However, in the end this is the essence of Egypt. Cut a tip for a kitschy mixture of foreign history, oriental flavor and warm sea. Western Europeans avoid us on reservations and you can cross paths with them only on excursions to Luxor (there are very few Russians: -) Luxor or the desert (I recommend "Badavei"). And to understand that Desert Rose is really a Rose in the Desert, go to Hurghada, just take a walk.
And you feel the contrast between the comfort of the hotel and the atmosphere of the country where every taxi driver or just a passerby seeing a white man dreams of waving at you and robbing you dearly (what to say when the police even ask for help? ). Have a nice rest!
