Good afternoon. Two days ago we returned from Hurghada. The Desert Rose Hotel was chosen on the advice of the operator, blogger Alexei Krylov and other reviews. Before that, 2 times were in Sharm. We came to Hurghada because of the proximity to Luxor. We had an overnight flight. At 6 am we were already at the hotel. Submitted completed questionnaires. They immediately put on bracelets and warned that earlier check-in would be after breakfast (as indicated in the hotel description, after 10). We went for breakfast, walked around the territory. Somewhere around 10-30 came to the reception, we were told that our rooms were ready. We were given a room on the ground floor in the 2nd building (as we wanted, my husband has a bad leg). Early check-in at no extra charge! We liked everything in the hotel! And the territory, and the lagoon, and food and attitude towards vacationers. As the blogger said: "if you set a goal, you can always find something to fight. " Wi-fi in the room is weak, but in public places (at the reception, in bars, by the pools) it is normal. Who needs good internet, they bought a local card and there were no problems. The complaints of vacationers about food are very surprising. Yes, breakfast is the same. But from our experience this is the case in most hotels in Egypt. For lunch and dinner - a wide variety of dishes. For those who haven't had breakfast or haven't eaten, there is a cafe on the way to the beach from 10, where they make omelettes, burgers, french fries, etc. There are many beautiful and cozy bars in the hotel. Husband says good brandy and rum. And for my taste - a good beer. There are a lot of various sports entertainments on the territory: fitness, windsurfing, canoeing, volleyball, tennis, etc. In the evening there are concert and animation programs. The territory and the beach can be described in one word - Beauty! Yes, there are a lot of Arabs with children (they prefer to call themselves Egyptians). Yes, they are noisy. But these are children! Always smiling, in response to your smile. We didn't have any problems with them. Compared to Sharm, there are few fish, they are not so bright, the reef is dead. We knew this beforehand. But our goal was - Luxor. The trip is of course exhausting (4.5 hours by bus each way). But it was worth it! In general, we really enjoyed our vacation! Especially recommended for those with children. I would also like to add that the hotel is on the same level, there are no stairs at all, so it is very suitable for people with disabilities and mothers with prams. Have a nice holiday everyone!
