We arrived at the hotel around 6 pm. We immediately put on bracelets, gave the keys to the room.
The rooms are one of the drawbacks of the hotel. The room stock is old, requiring thorough cosmetic repairs, furniture and equipment renovation. We were also unlucky with cleaning - a thick layer of dust on the table, near and on the TV, on the unused shelves of the closet, as it lay during the settlement, remained untouched until our departure, well, we were not twisted the monogram of towels.
The territory is large and beautiful, there are a lot of flowers, in the evening it is simply impossible not to hear their aroma. Very clean, neatly trimmed trees and lawns.

There are 3 pools. One is very large, with bridges and islands, a water bar, but not heated. The second Olympic is for those who are engaged in swimming, what you need. The third is heated, 2 children's slides, quite roomy. Depth in the pools from 60 cm to 210 cm is suitable for swimming both for children and those who do not get tired of swimming, and for those who like to dive. Since we were not very lucky with the weather - there was a very cold wind and not very hot, the bulk of the people were near the heated pool, so it was possible to take a sunbed only from the early morning, after 9 in the morning - this became problematic. In the unheated pools, during our stay, almost no one swam.
Water park-7 slides of various lengths and heights. Again, due to the weather and the cold pool, we went there several times. Open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00.
The beach is very large, clean, there is enough space for everyone. The lagoon - always without waves, clear water, sandy entrance to the sea - is suitable for everyone. In the middle of the lagoon there are several large mattresses where you can sunbathe. Outside the lagoon, a coral reef, you can see the inhabitants of the Red Sea in all its glory, but, as I said, we were not lucky with the weather - the sea was very cool and we could not swim there, unfortunately.
The food, I can’t say that it is very varied, but you won’t stay hungry, that’s for sure. In principle, every day the dishes were repeated with some variations. In the morning, an omelette, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and pasta will be prepared for you on the fire. For lunch, chips, fish, pasta, pancakes. For dinner, duck or chicken, fish, pasta. Constantly in the assortment of salads, fresh vegetables, buns, sweets, seasonal fruits. For a snack in the bars on the territory, you will be offered pizza, various unsweetened pastries, ice cream, popcorn, etc. Drinks-juices, tea, coffee, red and white wine, beer, various alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. There are also 4 a la carte restaurants: fish, Italian, Mexican and Lebanese. Each can be visited once free of charge by prior reservation. We hit everything but the Mexican. In principle, they fed well everywhere, but if you have to stand a long line of people who want to go to restaurants, then I would not stand (we were lucky, we got out of line and signed up at once in 3 restaurants, but every day there were 15 people already at 9 30, although you can only sign up from 10 am).
Wi-fi is free - only in the lobby, it is not available anywhere else in the hotel. If you want internet everywhere, buy a local SIM card.

The staff is definitely a big plus. Everyone smiles at you, asks how you are doing, if everything is fine with you, if you have any problems. All are humorous and friendly.
Animation, I can not say anything, because they did not participate in the public life of the hotel. But it is definitely there by the pool and on the beach. For children there is a kids club and an evening children's program, I can’t say anything either, because my child has already grown out of childhood. Once we were at the evening show, but we didn’t really like it, we didn’t go anymore. From 11 p. m. to 3 a. m. , the disco was not visited.
If you are going on a tour, then I advise you to build your own lunch box, because the lunch box from Desert Rose is the saddest one I have ever seen.
In general, the hotel can be safely put a solid 4 out of 5 possible. For the price we paid, we were satisfied with the rest.
