Diving
And what about diving - who better to contact. Is it possible to be alone with an instructor and not in a group (I'm afraid in a group). What is the price
Thanks

there is a diving club on the pier with them you can agree on everything, and a bald man runs along the beach REDA he can tell
don't be afraid to ask!!!!
аватар oresta52
What are you afraid of? What do you mean I don't want to be in a group? You will always have an individual instructor!
Will lead by the hand.
аватар Tana999
Orestes, that is, even if we study in a group, will they individually look after me under water?
This is good. And then the previous instructor in the Andamant Sea pulled me away from all the dangers :-)
аватар oresta52
Be sure to only with you, and only with one!
It was not the first time I dived, and even that did not let me move away from myself.
I wanted a photo from a distance, so I almost pushed it away from me by force in order to take a beautiful picture! Too bad you can't scream underwater!

. And then the previous instructor in the Andamant Sea pulled me away from all the dangers :-) ---????
So this is his job, to deliver you safe and sound to the shore. And what is your goal, that you are rushing to the dangers under water?
аватар Tana999
Yes, I'm not eager for dangers - I just don't know what is dangerous or harmful :-) The same hedgehogs are so beautiful. In short, I don’t even know why the instructor pulled me away, but I felt in the water that I didn’t let me do something, turned me aside. And then on the shore he said that he was pulling away from dangers. It seems that there are algae that bake there - I don’t know English so well :-)
And the fact that you can’t shout is a pity - complete delight
аватар elenako
The main rule is NOTHING, under any pretext not to touch living creatures under water.

If you buy on the pier in the diving club - the cost of the tour is $ 45 (2 stops for diving, depth 8-10m). They now have a promotion for $ 85, you can get a PADI certificate (during the day go through a full briefing + everything that is included in the tour, get an international certificate). But you will be better told about all this on the spot. If you buy from your operator will be a little more expensive $ 55-65.
аватар Tana999
Thank you. I have a certificate. Another question - the density of the water of the Red Sea is higher than that of the Andamant. In Andamantsky, I dived to 12 m. At first, my ears hurt a little, until I blew it 20 times. Do you think in Red it means that the ears will start to strain at 8 m. Or is it not so scary?
аватар oresta52
Yes, after 7-8 meters a very unpleasant pain in the ears.
аватар Tana999
But then it went away? Or will there be dives all the time due to density?
аватар oresta52
Oh sure! But some tourists refused to dive again because of this!
аватар oresta52
They take you to very good places in Hurghada for diving, and they take very beautiful photos!
But for a photo you need to agree in advance, since not everyone does it and not everyone knows how to do it beautifully.
The first time the photos did not turn out, as I did everything at close range.
But the second time, against the background of corals, schools of fish, huge fish, it is very beautiful.

Thanks a lot to everyone

Here's the PADI certificate for you :( Haven't they explained ELEMENTARY things to you?! What you need to start BLOWING from 2 meters!!! What 8? What 12? How did you not get barotrauma?! In shock!
аватар Kasja23
Yes, the instructor was good, who did not explain how to blow out the ears !!!!
Pinch your nose with your fingers and blow. You will feel something click in your ear. Sometimes it doesn't happen in both ears at the same time. You can swallow saliva with your nose closed, the same effect. This equalizes the pressure. Otherwise, the eardrum may burst.
аватар elenako
As for the purge, I can’t imagine how you can dive and blow through 8 m for the first time! There is never an extra purge.
Tana999 is scary when the ears are strained, and this phenomenon does not depend on the density of water at all. The rule is to blow more often, you correctly wrote as Kasja23.

On the Internet, everything is "sucked" in a hundred rows:
Equalization of pressure in the inner ear.
Valsalva method: This is undoubtedly the most popular method. It is he who is usually taught to beginners in courses. Just close your mouth, pinch your nose and exhale gently. It is extremely important not to exhale forcefully, otherwise you will create excess pressure in the middle ear cavity. This can happen if you have difficulty equalizing the pressure. Especially - if you waited too long and did not purge in advance.
Valsalva tension (Valsalva maneuver) is forced exhalation with the nose and mouth closed. This test, also called the Valsalva test or the Valsalva method, is named after Antonio Maria Valsalva, the famous Italian anatomist. Interestingly, this method was originally proposed for squeezing out pus from the middle ear in otitis media. Now it is a must-have for divers when diving, to equalize pressure in the sinuses of the upper jaw and middle ear, as well as passengers on airplanes when climbing and descending.

Continuation:
"Frenzel Method: First, close your mouth and pinch your nose. Then, instead of trying to force air into your sinuses with an exhalation, move your tongue back along the palate. Muscle contraction will open the nasal cavities and Eustachian tubes, which will allow air to pass into the middle ear.
Toynbee and Lowry Methods: Using the Toynbee method, pinch your nose, close your mouth, and swallow. The Lowry Method combines the Toynbee and Valsalva techniques - pinch your nose and, exhaling gently, swallow.
Which method to use is an individual matter, it depends, incl. on anatomical features.
In no case should you dive "to the point of pain in the ears"! Like, I'll be patient. An adult can get an ear barotrauma already at a depth of 3 m, children are more "rubber" - they hold 5-6 m.
THIS IS THE BASICS OF DIVING. Plan to dive - spend 1 HOUR on Google to learn the basic physiology of diving. And you will be happy :)
аватар Tana999
Thank you - already back :-). I threw the question on the last day and did not see all the reviews.
How to blow ears - taught. It’s just that they are apparently too tender for me, and therefore there was still pain in my ears (albeit not for long). As for diving - I liked it more in Thailand - the sea is warmer and I saw a shark. And in Hurghada, there was a beautiful moray eel - times more than in Thailand
аватар Kasja23
I wonder where you dived, what did you like more in Thailand? :)
аватар Tana999
She lived in the north of Phi Phi Island. There was a diving center there last year. I can't get in touch this year. Apparently the instructor has moved. Perhaps it was near Bamboo. I Chukchi did not even ask what site.
I liked it better because
1. Water 29 degrees - I like it warmer :-)
2. Transparency was much higher
3. I saw more fish, because I went down to 12 m. For example, although there is a clown fish in Hurghada, I did not see it.
4. There was one (there are few vacationers in the north of Phi Phi) and therefore a lot of people did not interfere. In Hurghada, there were 2 ships nearby and, accordingly, full of scuba divers
5. Diving in Tae for 45 minutes for long distances. We sailed under water, and the captain overtook the boat from above. And in Hurghada they were released for 20 minutes and, accordingly, swam 20 meters along the coral next to the boat
That is, much better service and some fish (shark, etc.)

If you have a certificate, then there should be no problems with diving anywhere. Diving, as a rule, is 40-60 minutes. There are those when you come to the same place where you dived. And it happens, as you describe, a yacht waiting for you in a completely different place.
The depth is also different - it all depends on the reef - it can be 6m and 25-30.
In terms of diving and the beauty of the reefs, Marsa Alyam is in the first place for me. Then El Kusseir, then Sharm, and then Hurghada.
аватар Tana999
Thank you. I looked at the info on Marsa Alyam and El Kusseir. Impressed. There is a goal for the future :-)
