Were in * Dan * in 2008. Liked the hotel. The territory is large green well-groomed. Excellent service! But not so much with the sea! It is necessary to go along the left spit 100 meters and the sea already begins there! We liked the Palm-Beach-Resort Hotel the most. (Eurotel) Also in Hurghada, but in the opposite direction! The service is excellent. And there is indeed the Sea.

We also liked Dana. We were there in October 2009. After that, we were in 4 more hotels in Egypt - and I conclude that Dana is a very decent hotel. With the entry into the sea, I agree with the previous reviews. I will only add that there is a long pontoon: if you are too lazy to go along the spit, go into the sea from the pontoon. As for the weather: at the end of January we rested in "Desert Rose" (this is through the fence from "Dana") - we didn’t swim in the sea near the hotel for 10 days - it was very windy and there was a constant ebb tide, we walked only ankle-deep in water - admired the remnants of the sea fauna. If you want to see in the photo the entry into the sea in "Dana" - drop your e-mail, I will drop the photo at high tide, at low tide, and then decide for yourself. We would fly to "Dana" again.
