The rooms are very good: spacious, new furniture, everything is there. I don't know who calls the Marlin Inn a Soviet boarding house. It is not true! The only drawback of this hotel: a very small area (but someone likes it on the contrary). Read reviews of this hotel and see for yourself. Virtually no bad reviews. I haven't been to Royal Palace, so I can't say anything. But judging by the reviews - weak. There is no comparison with Merlinn Inn.

I agree. To be objective, there are drawbacks in any hotel. But if you go on vacation with a positive attitude, then all the shortcomings will not be of great importance and the rest will not be spoiled.
