Can you tell me how the weather is in September?
Dear experts, please tell me, my husband and I are going to the Dominican Republic for 2 weeks from September 12, I am very worried about the weather, I read that it is September-October the rainy season there. I don’t want to spoil the long-awaited vacation. Also, recommend a hotel. I want 5 *, with good service, cuisine, green area.

Let's take for example the weather statistics for Kyiv in July.
In 2009 it was hot, with almost no rain.
In 2010, also almost without rain, a temperature record was set for the heat.
In 2011 All of July - solid rains, set a record for the lowest temperature in the last 60 years and the amount of precipitation.
If in half a year you ask me what the weather will be like in July 2013, what should I tell you?
Heat or continuous rain? On what do you base your conclusion on the last year or the previous ones?
You read it right September-October-rainy season. Since the monsoon climate is changing, typhoons with heavy rains are also possible!!!
No one will give you an accurate forecast! But if you rely on probability, the probability of rainy weather is greater than that of sunny weather. Approximately in the ratio 2/1

Take into account that August - September are the hottest months here. There is never much rain. So come, tune in to a positive holiday.

As always the Carrier is right ;-) We were in Punta Cana in September 4 or 5 times and we were always lucky with the weather. If it was raining or downpour, it ended rather quickly, and if it was not a thunderstorm, then very often we simply waited out this rain in the sea. The only time we got there was when Hurricane Ivan passed, it rained for 2 days in a row, but it was also kind of interesting to watch mother nature.
