As always the Carrier is right ;-) We were in Punta Cana in September 4 or 5 times and we were always lucky with the weather. If it was raining or downpour, it ended rather quickly, and if it was not a thunderstorm, then very often we simply waited out this rain in the sea. The only time we got there was when Hurricane Ivan passed, it rained for 2 days in a row, but it was also kind of interesting to watch mother nature.
