The Melia Caribe Tropical Resort 5 * hotel is the greenest on the entire coast of Punta Cana and is definitely higher than the Occidental Grand Flamenco Punta Cana 4 *. I advise you to consider another NH Real Arena 5 * it is almost in the same price category as Melia

To unravel your doubts, I will write like this, the Melia Caribe Tropical Resort 5 * and Occidental Grand Flamenco Punta Cana 4 * hotels are completely different in quality, I personally was in both hotels. And I would choose less but better, i.e. Melia, excellent hotel, Occidental is much simpler in everything, believe me, starting with the rooms, etc. I agree when there is nothing to compare with and Occidental will seem to you like in paradise, but the difference in level is palpable.

Of these three, I definitely advise OCEAN BLUE & SAND 5 *, I also lived in it, the hotel is new, very good, a magnificent beach, service at the level, food, drinks are all super. Hotel BARCELO DOMINICAN BEACH 4 * categorically do not advise, not very well-groomed territory and an unpleasant smell in the rooms and some restaurants. Catalonia is so-so, nothing special.
