We traveled from August 25 to September 5.2017. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition of the hotel for 3 stars. Very charming and cozy hotel with few rooms. We were seated 5 minutes after arrival. We settled in a spacious room, the air conditioner worked without interruption, and we could come to the room after the beach and relax in a cool room. The buffet was excellent, my husband is a very picky eater and usually doesn't like much in hotels, but he liked the cuisine in the buffet and a la carte restaurant. The hotel does not have as many restaurants as Dominican 5-star hotels have, but the quality of food is no worse (before that we were in a 5-star hotel, but this time finances did not allow). The hotel has three swimming pools, the water is a bit salty. The beach is excellent, the weather pleased all the days. For two days there was a lot of algae, but the next morning they were removed. The beach has a bar with a good selection of free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Also, I advise you to go to a bar near the hotel, Gary's. There is also a market not far from the bar, although we liked Ola's Russian store more to the left along the beach. (All this can be found on google maps). All in all, we liked it very much, maybe we will come back next year.
