We rested with my husband for 13 nights from April 29 to May 12. I was very worried about the weather (May in Punta Cana is considered the rainy season). During our stay, tropical showers did happen 5 times, mostly in the evening and at night (although once the rain was during the day, but not strong). The peculiarity of the climate (super! ) in the Dominican Republic is that even when it rains during the day, you can safely lie in a bathing suit on a deck chair on the beach under an umbrella and read a book. At the same time, you are not cold and there is no state of dankness or cool dampness after rain, like ours. The only thing is that during the rain at night our roof leaked, but the water dripped into the jacuzzi, so this did not overshadow our rest. We liked the hotel very much. The food is excellent. The service is excellent. All issues were resolved instantly. One evening, a tropical downpour suddenly began (the water was wall and ankle-deep), we didn’t have an umbrella in the room, I called the reception and they brought it to us within 5 minutes. I really liked the Dominicans. They are all very polite, smiling, many of them sing in the process of work. . Despite the fact that they do not live richly, they never ask for tips like the Turks, for example. And when you give a tip, many are shy, but everyone is sure to thank you. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach. My husband and I explored all the surroundings and I must tell you our beach was the most gentle, clean and beautiful! In general, the Dominican Republic is truly a paradise! And I recommend the hotel to everyone. We booked the hotel on an early booking and the price was about 800 dollars. cheaper.
