Feedback is very important, so I decided to contribute too...
We are very happy that we chose this hotel. Despite the shortcomings, and they were, we were very pleased!
So.

I was very pleased with my stay! (Our daughter speaks excellent English, which helps a lot! ) The receptionist does the right thing without being stupid! I know this from many years of experience. Namely: it offers a villa (and only villas in the hotel), which is near the reception, far from the beach and the pool, and shows the location of the villa on the hotel map. (By the way, such cards are issued to all guests - very convenient). And waiting for our response. (I was so tired after the flight, but I concentrated! ) We ask a rhetorical question: "Is there closer to the ocean? " (The hotel is on the Atlantic Ocean at Bavaro Beach). The answer is rhetorical - today there is nothing, but tomorrow there will be! And waiting! Well done! We all understand! and the husband begins to get money from the purse, and my daughter and I ask: "And today? Maybe there is something even? We need it today! Please! " (Can you imagine moving back and forth?! ) And, seeing the dollars, the receptionist replies: "Now, I'll look! " And finds a house near the beach and pool! And then it turned out that everyone who flew with us was also in neighboring houses! It cost us 20 bucks. We are satisfied! 2 minutes of rhetoric and 20 bucks and it's all over. Although all the villas are good. We then walked around the vast territory of the hotel and decided that everywhere has its pluses!
I liked the room, despite the fact that the air conditioner was buzzing, but the workers came and eliminated the hum. I was so pleasantly surprised that after their work they washed everything after themselves!
The attitude of the staff is very pleasant and friendly!
There is no problem in this country - a man-woman, as in Arab countries. Here men and women are normal. They talk, laugh, joke. Everyone interacted with us in a friendly way. Everyone smiles and says "hello": "Ola! "
The food is beyond praise! Every evening there is a themed dinner. I especially liked the Italian one - I never imagined such a variety of spaghetti, ravioli, pizza. Gained at least 2 kg! In the morning, several types of fresh juice are already ready in large jugs. We made mixes from different fresh juices.
They have a problem with black tea. Finding a bag of black tea in the morning was a problem. They pour water that is no longer hot, it is already cooling, and they are looking for a bag of tea, because there is none on the table. I went to the guest service (near the reception) to a Russian woman and told this problem. The next day I saw big hot thermoses, tea and cups nearby - you can not wait for the waiters, but make yourself tea - great! And the next day they brought fruit to our room. Nice!
Three more problems of the hotel, which I mentioned to the guest service: 1) an unpleasant smell in one place on the way to the restaurant, 2) the transport that drives around the hotel is exhaust gases, and there are a lot of them, 3) the laundry works loudly, and near the houses... (Please note. )
The territory of the hotel is huge, a lot of birds: from ducks to peacocks and flamingos. It turned out that the territory of the hotel is considered a nature reserve.

The beach is the largest on the coast. Liked the beach. There are a lot of loungers. Lots of palm trees. The sand is white and clean. The water is clear green-blue. There are always waves, only once in the morning they were not. And when there were big waves, it turned out that it was so cool! Laughing all around! Waves are great!
Vacationers walk for several kilometers along the coast past all the hotels. Just like on Khreshchatyk. We also walked. It's very nice. There is a city of souvenirs. The main souvenirs are: cigars, rum, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, jewelry, faceless dolls, etc. Haggle!
On the first day, we went for a walk along the coast, while there was no sun - there were clouds, suddenly it came out, and while we were returning to our beach, they burned out. It's very easy to burn out!
It's amazing that the sun is burning, but comfortable, the sand is not hot, but warm! The humidity is very high - we felt it when we got off the plane. What I have noticed is that the sun is hot, the water is evaporating, so clouds form quickly and it rains regularly. While we were there, it was several times, and a strong wind was blowing all the time.
It is very warm in the evening, there is usually no wind in the depths of the hotel. For dinner we went light.
The hotel made a Christmas dinner for Russian speaking guests. At the entrance, Russian women were greeted with champagne and congratulated from the bottom of their hearts on Christmas! There was Russian cuisine, red and black caviar - not salmon, but tasty. The music is beautiful - ours and the world's. Then a boat with a piano sailed and they sang Russian romances. Full delight! They issued an invitation to a free Russian disco with round-trip delivery, but we did not go. (I wanted to sleep terribly in the evenings. The time difference is 6 hours. If it’s 19 hours in the hotel, then in Kyiv it’s 23! You want to sleep, not eat! ) Our friends were at the same time with us in other hotels - they didn’t have anything like that , no Christmas parties and discos. They had complaints about hotels. And we have only positive emotions! Sometimes we get lucky too!

Excursions. Were on the island of Saona. There is the Caribbean Sea. Everything would be fine if it weren't for the bus ride. Winding, shaking all the time, for a long time, until everyone is brought in! Be sure to take it to the gift shop! And we are tired! I was nervous! After this excursion, I decided that it was the last one... The general impression is incomprehensible, and they tried to sell us something all the time... And the Caribbean Sea is calm, the photos turned out to be very beautiful - that's all. Swimming there was unpleasant, and we didn't even swim. There are stones in the water. Our hotel is better. Waiting for us to leave.
Swim with dolphins. Did not like. Three paid $360 plus $40 for a photo. Not worth it! We did not swim with dolphins, but on command we took pictures from different angles. Dolphins did a couple of tricks - that's all. There is an option with fur seals - I think it would be more interesting!
But I really liked the helicopter flight! Ride at least 10 minutes! We highly recommend!
The road from home to the hotel took a day, back as well. But everything went very well! We flew via Paris with French Airlines. Everything is great, especially the food.
About Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is important! You get off the plane in Paris, get on the bus, it will take you to the airport building. You will enter the doors and....don't go anywhere! Turn immediately left to the next exit (to the street). There are several boards - look for your flight on them and find out which terminal you need. (Attention there are two terminals "2E"! Look at everything at once! ) You need to take a bus and go to another terminal (most likely).
Yet. Do not buy anything from alcohol in Punta Cana's Dutifree!! ! Everything will be taken away in Paris! Or they will force you to receive luggage, put purchases there, and check in again! Buy everything in Paris!
Have a nice holiday!
