Same Copenhagen

My attitude to Copenagen is totally subjective. Objectivity has no place here, do not even ask to show it. There is no desire!

I don’t know what kind of devil spurred me on to go to this darkness again. At first I had a dream about Copen, then the circumstances turned out like that, and I decided to take a chance. "What if I change my mind, and I see something bright and beautiful in this city?! "...Once again, I entertained myself with foolish hopes.

May Day surprisingly pleased me with sunny weather, and while in Kyiv the female half was baring her legs, in Copenhagen I just wrapped myself in leather under a warm sweater.

All the same streets, all the same buildings with shops ....The city has not changed, it was just as monotonously boring.

One of the few changes is the town hall square, dug up and lined with fences and tents.

Walking through the streets, I came across a parade in honor of the Workers' Day.

It was not very crowded, but based on the appearance and inscriptions on the carriages - a contingent of not very "workers" from Christiania.

This five-minute parade brought at least some variety to the monotony of the city. Then I walked along the familiar streets, looked out for something new, did not find it, was disappointed, searched again and hoped.

So while walking around I came across a small flea market majestically called Antique Market! ! !

In such places you can always find a trinket to your taste, and I was no exception. But unfortunately, my purchase was limited to visual satisfaction, because I didn’t have Danish krones with me =(

Painted cups made me ecstatic!

Still the same bikes, more beggars, more and more suspicious individuals, fewer and fewer Danes. I was frankly dumb to walk around the city during the day, and even the quiet residential area in which I lived, instilled in me a panic.

On my first long visit to Denmark, I used land transport or a car. On the same visit, I went down "to the sinful earth" and used the subway. Even the subway in New Delhi with submachine gunners behind the barricades did not frighten me as much as the subway in Copenhagen. Dirty, poor immigrants, "high art" painting on the walls. Perhaps this is my personal attitude to the city that made my eyes look for only the negative, but perhaps this is the truth. After all, earlier it was rather difficult to obtain a direct visa to Denmark, but now the issuance of a visa has become easier and Denmark has opened its arms to more and more people who want to become part of the Kingdom!

But, I don’t want to “load” that innocent reader who was brought into this opus, and therefore we will dilute the negative with nice views.

One of the pluses in the city, as for me, are tents with flowers.

In the city, as always, empty streets ...where are the traffic jams ? ? ?

What is a story about Copenhagen without Nyhavn? ? ?

There are, as always, a lot of tourists, boats, open restaurants and, of course, seagulls!

I was frankly bored and not interested, I had already seen everything, I was almost everywhere. The city disappointed me even more. All I wanted was to get drunk, but even this pleasure is quite expensive in Denmark. The country has not become cheaper, but the extension of working hours in all stores has become a huge plus. Previously, in order to buy food, one had to be in time for the store before 5-6 pm, or go to those rare stores that were open until 9 and where prices were inflated.

They also opened the Aquarium in Copenhagen... beautiful and modern. I will talk about it in the next post. . .
