This is generally bad advice - getting the wrong visa. And this is doubly bad advice when it comes to the Czech Republic!!! For the simple reason that the Czech Consulate requires you to provide the ORIGINAL reservation from the hotel. Will you bother with booking according to the rules, correspondence with the hotel, receiving a response by mail, and after obtaining a visa - canceling the reservation ??? And what for? The Germans normally give visas to normal tourists.
