We were passing through Leipzig, so we limited ourselves to walking around the old town. It took approx. 3 hours, the most pleasant impression, the city is cozy and calm. We spent the night at the Don Giovanni Hotel with an indescribable Italian mood. Room, patio, restaurant - just lovely. Pay ok. 60 euros for two with breakfast.

Were in both cities. I won’t say anything about hotels, we stayed with friends. And by "see" .... Ideally, buy a guidebook or climb sites like www.dresden.de or www.leipzig.de. The cities are beautiful and so are the surroundings. Near Dresedn you can see a very beautiful rock outcrop over the Elbe - "Saxon Switzerland".
