We vacationed in Protaras in Cyprus for two years in a row - a very nice place: sandy beaches, wonderful cuisine, everything is very calm and conducive to relaxation. Near our hotel there was a very nice hotel Konnos Bay, the only thing is that you have to go down the mountain to the beach (one of the best beaches on the island), up, respectively, to climb. In a very quiet and peaceful place, there is a shop, a pizzeria, a bus stop nearby, 5 km to the center of Protaras, 10 km to Ayia Napa.

Ayia Napa is noisy, Protaras is much quieter and calmer. Arriving in Napa in the evening, the first impression was "a garden with gomora", having arrived the second time we got used to it a little, but I like Protaras much more.

A month ago I was resting in Limassol at the Estella Hotel 3 *. For a budget holiday, the most it is, rooms with air conditioning, a kitchen and, in general, a considerable balcony. There is a swimming pool on site. But the main thing is that the beach is a 5-minute walk and it is located in the Eucalyptus park area. I do not advise Paphos and Larnaca for recreation, the beaches are bad. I can’t say for the food, since we never ate there, there were many cafes nearby. Have a good rest.
