I'm flying from Rostov to northern Cyprus via Istanbul
Can you please tell me if I don't need a visa? In the internet, I dug up information about some kind of pro-visa, cat. available online in 20 minutes. but I still don’t understand if I need it if I’m flying through Turkey or not?! Is it true that they won’t let me into the territory of southern Cyprus and Greece later? thanks in advance

Citizens of the Russian Federation can visit Northern Cyprus without a visa through Turkey (Moscow - Istanbul / Antalya - Ercan).
A Cyprus visa is required if you are traveling through the territory of the Greek part of Cyprus (Moscow - Larnaca/Paphos).

But after that, there may be problems with crossing the border of the Greek part.

The fact that they will not be allowed into the Republic of Cyprus (recognized, Greek) is unambiguous, without options.
And about the pro-visa - you just read about the visa to the Republic of Cyprus. You do not need this visa.

Northern Cyprus is an unrecognized state, to visit it through Istanbul, a visa is not needed.
A pro-visa document for visiting the southern territory of Cyprus, obtained under a simplified scheme, giving the right to enter the territory of Cyprus once with a corridor of 90 days.
To visit Greece you need a Schengen visa.
If you want to visit Turkish Cyprus, Greek Cyprus and Greece in one trip, you can get a multi-Schengen, go to Greece, then to Cyprus (if you have a multi-Schengen visa, you don’t need a visa), then to Turkish territory, return to the southern part of Cyprus and come back home.

I forgot to write: to return home with the above route, you also need to go through Greece.

I was in northern Cyprus in 2010 and I still suffer. Now you can’t get to the southern one with this passport, and as I was told, it’s difficult.
Plus, I don’t know why, but the stamp on crossing the border was put in special marks for me. And now, when going through customs in other countries, all customs officers somehow closely examine it.

earlier, by the way, it was possible to take a questionnaire-card at the passage of passport control (I don’t remember exactly what it’s called) and put stamps on crossing the border exactly there. I don't know if this is currently practiced.

If you visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (this is how Northern Cyprus is correctly called) from the territory of the recognized Republic of Cyprus (from the southern, Greek part), then they do not make any marks in the passport, but give a leaflet with a visa, so there are no traces of visiting Northern Cyprus, and problems no.

even if you fly in through Ercan airport, you can ask for this leaflet. it was definitely possible before. Now I do not know

I confirm that if there is any mark of Northern Cyprus in the passport, then a Greek visa will no longer be obtained. In Ukraine, most agencies do not even take such documents into work. This is 100% failure. Last year we went on an excursion from South Cyprus to the Turkish side and we were simply marked with a border crossing mark on a leaf. After the tour, we just threw it away and that's it.
