Good day.
We rested in Constantinos in late August - early September. When the hotel was chosen, there were more positive than negative reviews on different sites, but somehow, a month before departure, negative things rained down, as if from a cornucopia. I was driving almost in horror - the number of rooms is old, there is not enough food... Dear reusable lovers of Turkey and Egypt, do not waste your time - go further to the above countries. In Cyprus, the territories of the hotels are small, there are no slyly obsequious Arab eyes, there is no super animation, in the restaurant, even if you have AllInc, you need to order everything to the waiter who will slowly carry it to you...
We went with 2 families (children 11 and 5 years old), chose Protaras, so that there was a sandy beach, first line, all inclusive (children), 5 stars (not my "zabaganka"). Under these criteria, 2 hotels came up - Constantinos and Grecian Park, the second had to be dismissed - go down the hill to the beach. This was the introduction. And now about the hotel.

Presentable, in the old colonial style - this, by the way, distinguishes it from all the almost monotonous buildings standing on the shore. Room, we had 127, with a partial sea view across the pool - clean, new plumbing, bath accessories (shampoo, shower gel, soap, hats, ear buds and cotton balls) are added as they disappear, a hair dryer attached (who thick hair - I recommend taking your own). Laminate floor, comfortable mattress, clean white bedding. Plasma TV, kettle with refreshing coffee, tea, sugar and cream. There is a safe, but it is paid - 2.5 euros per day, the refrigerator is also paid (although in our room it was opened with an ordinary teaspoon). Photos of the room and the view from it are attached.
Meals - breakfasts are quite monotonous - eggs in different forms, including scrambled eggs of your choice with different fillings, bacon, 3-4 types of cheeses, ham (2-3 types), vegetables, olives, stewed beans, pancakes, toasts, jams , honey, fruits, dried fruits - figs, prunes, dates, dried apricots, almonds (sorry, dried fruits only in the morning); warm croissants, more buns with chocolate and raisins (all this in a warming cabinet), 2 types of muffins - a la brownie and light with variations - very good. delicious…. A cool moment - there is a coffee machine that makes espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, cocoa. Drinks "just like that" are only available at breakfast. Lunches are more varied - some soup, several types of meat, 2-3 types of side dishes, salads, drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, you need to order the waiter, who, as a rule, asks for your room number. Dinners. They are incomparable. Diverse. A lot of meat, namely pork, deliciously cooked. There is fish, sweets, fruits. Every time they do something new, but there is also a standard set. Do not retell... Overeating! Drinks, again, you order the waiter. Nuance. Breakfasts and lunches are held in the restaurant on the minus ground floor. Dinners at zero, dress code for men (no shorts and slates), here you no longer occupy a table that you like, but the waiter leads you, taking into account of course your wishes - if you want on the terrace overlooking the sea, if you want with someone (we were given a table for 6 people).
Sea and beach. There are not even enough words - the stunning azure color of the water, changing its shades - in the morning it is one, in the evening - another, the brightest - at lunchtime, when it is there, in principle, it is not worth it - the sun is hot. Sun loungers on the grass near the hotel are free of charge (everyone had enough of everything, no one dumped or stole anything, the only one who left towels in the evening was they were mercilessly soaked together with everything else in the morning when watering the lawn and “rinsing” the sunbeds). To the sea - cross the wooden embankment (stretching, by the way, from Fig Tree Bay, along our hotel and further, further, further... ) and already sand, not white, but reddish-yellow. The water is the most transparent - you swim, it seems that you can reach the bottom with your hand - but no, it will be with your head. The most amazing thing is that the coast is sandy, but the wave does not muddy the water - it only raises the sand a little at the very edge, but when it moves back, it is already clean and transparent. The entry into the water is smooth, yes, there are stones, but they are not sharp, they are clearly visible and you just swim over them. Behind the stones, closer to the pontoon pier, there is a shallow, which is more pronounced after lunch. Yes, towels are issued in the gym on a deposit of 5 euros for one, change when you want, when you return - you get your euros. The pool is small - mostly kids splash around in it, during the day they do aqua aerobics and water polo, in the evening there is some kind of entertainment on the -1 floor. The pool bar for all inclusive has its own list, what is free, what is for extra money. Free of charge - packaged juices, sweet carbonated muck - cola, sprite, sandwiches, burgers, huge ones, french fries, beer with peanuts (poured into a disposable cup), cocktails... Yes, drinking water - they do not give, as usual, in plastic bottles, but pour into large disposable glasses (about 0.4 l). Ice cream - local after 10 - free of charge, as much as you like - there are little blue refrigerators - open and take it, at the pool bar - you need to ask - they take it out of their refrigerator. Imported ice cream - for money.
Location - in the very center of Protaras - you go up a little and the main walking street with a bunch of cafes, souvenir shops. If you go from the hotel to the right - after 5 minutes of a leisurely walk there will be McDonald's with free Wi-Fi (at the hotel it is paid), near McDonald's - Show of dancing fountains, a little further to go behind McDonald's - on the mountain there is a beautifully illuminated church of St. Elijah (walk better evening). If you go up the road leading up from the hotel - Lidl supermarket. The street is one-way, there are 101 and 102 buses - one to Ayia Napa, the other to Paralimni. (This is a circular route). The fare is 1 euro (you only need to enter through the driver's door). Our vacation turned out to be vegetable, as a rule, the sea bothers me after 4-5 days and I want to see something, but here... I wanted to look at the sea.

This is the first review of this hotel on the site about Constantinos, so I tried to describe in detail. Perhaps I wrote something superfluous, missed something, ask questions - I will try to answer. Yes, I read in other reviews that there is noise from discos until the middle of the night, we heard it the first day, then no, but for those who rent rooms in apartments, I think this is a big problem. This is the only small minus that I can note...
