We have to drive ourselves. The first time we took an excursion to Havana - everything was running, running, in the heat - it was very difficult. Then they took a car and traveled by themselves - no comparison! On the second visit to Cuba, we immediately rented a car and rode along a pre-planned route with a guide, and sometimes without.
