Once we rested from August 15 in Elenite and it was cool for me in the sea, as soon as I came to the beach I swam, but after basking in the sun I could no longer go into the water, and in the evening I had to dress warmer, so I would definitely not be able to advise. But if September or the second half of June, then I would take a more southern resort than Golden Sands.

In August, until the end of the month, the sea is very warm, then it gets cold for 2-3 days and then warm again, usually they left on September 4-6. In 2011 in June there was a cold snap for 5 days, we swam, but it was cold. Now we go only in August for a month. And this is a win-win period. But after 25 Aug. we must take the southern coast, you are right. In the middle of June we always went either to St. Constantine or to Albena. Was good.

For many years in a row, since 2003, I have noticed that June on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast is still warmer than in the Crimea, there are no cold currents here. From about June 1, the water in the sea is already warming up to 21-24 degrees (if the air is consistently warm). Last year there was an excellent sea from June 8 to 15 in the Riviera region (we had a rest with children) and swam in the town of Byala - south of Varna - on September 29 - the sea was simply magical. There is no heat like in Egypt and Turkey in July-August, it is quite comfortably tolerated.
