Liked everything! Those problems that were noted in the reviews of previous years, the hotel has successfully corrected. The menu is varied, there is something to choose from, the staff smiles around the clock - I'm not kidding, we talked at one in the morning, and from five in the morning - on departure.

The animators and their super incendiary chef are just smart. The location is good - on a hill, there is no noise from seaside discos, but not far from the sea. True, we are without kids : ))) One, perhaps, minus is a weak WF. In general, read the rules more carefully - both about check-in at 14.00, and about the deposit for air conditioning - well, the rules are, why swear? Well, I still don’t know who is a plus, who is a minus - a chic program for children and a quiet night for adults (without discos and night animation)

Attention everyone! On the night of September 15-16, a lady's bag with all the documents, a camera and other valuables was stolen from the room. Be vigilant. It should be noted that for 14 days our valuables were in the safe, but on the last night, we had to take them out of the safe, because we had to pack and leave the hotel early and we were afraid to forget them We rested at the Sunrise Hotel, the hotel itself is good, with good animation, swimming pools, acceptable, albeit somewhat monotonous food, mainly breakfast.

Lunches and dinners are more than decent. But they do not clean very well and not every day. Linen is changed once a week. Quite often they came to clean up when we were sleeping. The room overlooked the street, so you could hear the animation coming from the neighboring hotel, the drunken cries of the Germans. Do not take a room with access to the street! Ask for the sea or the pool. I personally do not go to Bulgaria more than a foot.

The hotel itself is not bad for 3 stars, but the staff is stone faces (except for the animators). The first hotel in my practice where I could not agree on a change of room. When registering, they do not say that you need to leave 20 euros as a deposit for air conditioning. The food is monotonous and tasteless, if something tastes better, you have to stand in line for up to 20 minutes.

The nearest gate to the beach is closed, you have to walk extra 100 meters. Almost the entire beach is paid - a deck chair, an umbrella, a mattress - 8 euros. Bulgarians are an extremely unfriendly people. If you are used to mediterranean service and friendliness - do not go there

Rested in Sunrise 3 times and the reviews are only positive! I did not notice any discrimination against Russians! On the contrary, and the animators conduct programs in three languages, sometimes more, if the hotel is dominated by Germans, then the program starts in German, followed by French, Russian, etc.

On the contrary, and the animators conduct programs in three languages, sometimes more, if the hotel is dominated by Germans, then the program starts in German, followed by French, Russian, etc. Romanian is often added. The kitchen is excellent, special thanks to the chef Miroslav, it was in the bowels of the restaurant, the order and cleanliness are perfect. Although they say that a chicken is not a bird, Bulgaria is not a foreign country, but this is not Turkey either, yes, the beaches are paid, well, they have a different mentality by definition...

P / S when choosing between Sunrise and Excelsior, choose Sunrise, there is not much difference, but there are subtleties.

The impressions of the trip turned out to be quite positive, the location of the hotel, despite the location on the hill - climbing which was difficult for children 4 and 7 years old, as well as a mother of 74 years old. pretty decent - a little away from the thundering discos at night, but the truth is a little away from any shops, which had to be 400 meters away.

Very decent pools, they swam a lot, free sunbeds were always present, even in the heat. The Excelsior Hotel really liked the presence of a jacuzzi in the pool and a section for the very young, as well as the presence of a volleyball net in the middle of the pool.
The all inclusive food was pretty decent. Although during the 12 days of their stay they still managed to catch the stomach flu, and all six of them, in turn, had been ill for 1-2 days.
The only thing that really bothered me was the negative attitude towards the Russians, which was felt everywhere. Even in the aperitif bar in the lobby of the 1st floor, the waiters gave the Germans cocktails with a straw, and the Russians were served reluctantly, for a very long time, and every time they would give a cocktail without a straw, which they had to ask for separately for children, which again elicited unpleasant grimaces from the waiters. When you start asking for a cocktail or something else (everything is free on the menu), they pretend that they don’t understand what exactly I’m asking, they say we don’t understand Russians and that’s it... And when, at the end of our vacation, I insolently openly, when I ordered tea, they began to demand tea for them too.
There is a good playground and a mini-club for children, in the evenings there are always discos for children. But all this is in German and my children, 4 and 7 years old, simply refused to go to them, because the German children there sang along with the sounding songs and danced to them, and mine looked like renegades and only stupidly contemplated this holiday of life.
In the mini-club, young animators also refused to play and work with our children. At best, they will give a piece of paper and a pencil - draw. There were many games in boxes, toys, we even asked the animators to explain the rules of the games to the children and play, but they only refused - they said they didn’t understand.
All evening animations and animations by the pool during the day for adults were also exclusively for Germans, because in the Bingo lottery I did not know the sound of numbers in German, and all the competitions were also in German... In general, in this hotel they let me feel the full program that Russians are second-class people.
On the beach, although the sand, but the sun loungers are paid. There were practically no free zones (they are at the very edge of the coast, where the waves are. You won’t lie on the wet sand... ), and if you find a piece of dry sand somewhere, where to settle down, they immediately come up and say that you lie here it’s impossible, there is a paid zone and in every possible way they are trying to rip off for a sunbed and a mattress with an umbrella, the prices for which are decently bite. And these conflicts were repeated every time, we even tried to go to the sea extremely rarely (more by the pool), because we knew that now we would have to look for places and in any place where we didn’t settle down, they would again come up and say that it’s impossible here, it's only paid here.
Trains go along the beach, but the conductors on them are extremely arrogant. One, Mihailo, ripped off the fee even from my 4-year-old daughter, although according to the rules they pay only from 5 years old.
Summary: in general, the hotel is not bad, quite comfortable, working on an all-inclusive system, there is animation, good pools, but if you are not afraid of the negative towards the Russians and the prospect of constantly paying for your visit to the seashore, it is worth a trip. You will not regret. Hotel prices are very reasonable.

Cleaning at the highest level, but we must not forget that it is customary to leave a tip (the staff lives from this). We changed towels every day, pillowcases and sheets every other day + standard linen change every week. Naturally daily general cleaning.

Cleaning is done quite rarely, I advise you to take glasses, plates and other cutlery from home, because. if the maid accidentally breaks something during cleaning, you will pay for it (approximately 5-10 lev). The food in the hotel is disgusting - all on soy, no need to chew - so swallow! The diet does not change throughout the rest, it is better not to drink soft drinks in the dining room.

Fans are rented to Russian vacationers 1.5-2 times more expensive than to the Germans, Finns and British, or they may not be given at all!
By the way, stay away from Finnish youth. I do not recommend living next door to them.
If you are going to Bulgaria in order to read books, swim in the sea, go on excursions and go to bed early, then "Chuchuliga" (the popular name of the hotel) is just what you need, because. there are no evening and night entertainment programs in the hotel!
