On the third day of rest, 40 people were poisoned in the hotel. The manager refused to provide all possible assistance and ran away from work altogether. The child "pulled" him to his feet, and instead of helping, he disappeared. The hotel doctor examined the children for only 100 leva.
Russian tourists were forced to call a representative of the embassy in Bulgaria.
The cuisine is absolutely not diverse, there are few fruits.
The gym is dead. There is no billiards at all. From what they promise - really 40-50%.
On the fourth day of rest, the whole family was poisoned, and in the whole hotel, 40 people were poisoned. The hotel nurse carried out the examination. Then we drove to the hospital, where they put me and my daughter on a dropper and then took us back. These two droppers cost us 480 leva...

If you have any questions, write, I will answer everyone in more detail))
The food is good, it was enough for me, but what about alcoholic drinks?
Not in the sense that there is no, but in the fact that beer and wine are non-alcoholic.
The service is friendly and multilingual.
But the most memorable thing is the animation of the show.
Big hello to the animation group (Pascal, Vesco, Vasco, Olya, Nadya)
from Belarus.
Very noisy, especially in the lobby. There are a lot of people. Came when the World Cup was held. The Germans celebrated for two days (they walked drunk and shouted something very loudly). You come to the sea from a big city and you want a certain calmness, but here you won’t get it. I didn’t like the food in the general restaurant - monotonous and not tasty, the dishes are dirty (especially for cups). The rooms are bearable. Bed and towels were changed without any problems. We lived on the 6th floor overlooking the sea - and the main pool (yes, it's noisy, but with the doors closed, the balcony didn't interfere much). The eldest child (13 years old) met the guys and spent the whole day at the pool - he liked it only because he had someone to communicate with. But as for holidays with small children..... I saw how mothers with strollers suffer, dragging them up the stairs near the pool, there is no other way to leave the hotel to the road. The pools are dirty (the water is muddy, and there is dirt on the stairs), so they didn’t dare to go with the younger one - they only went to the sea. To get to the sea, you need to go along a noisy shopping street (down), almost along the road where cars drive very famously, and it is difficult for a three-year-old boy to explain that it is dangerous. We coped with this, but I felt in constant tension, I had to keep my eyes on the child for more than a second (flirting from constantly ran out onto the road). We are returning from the sea, the child is only in our arms, but you yourself understand that you cannot rest uphill and in 30-degree heat. And so 2 times a day. The beach is clean - sun loungers and umbrellas are paid. There are a lot of entertainments for children in Golden Sands. But if you are on the first line, you can rest. And if, like us, until you get to all the attractions, you walk another 150-200 meters and the child is already naughty, because he can’t withstand such a load, then you won’t see anything especially.
I would like to say that for young people the hotel may be suitable, but it is not for relaxing with a small child. I have rested in Bulgaria more than once and I liked the rest in Sozopol, in Elenite, in Albena more. Whoever expects peace and tranquility from the rest, then you are not in Golden Sands. It’s not bad in Bulgaria, but we most likely will go to Turkey next time for the money we paid (where it’s calmer and the food is much better and you can spend time with a child much more interesting).
By the way, about the hotel - I agree with many of the 4 stars it does not pull. And the best option to eat is not at the hotel, but in local restaurants where they cook very tasty and at a reasonable price.
Our friends lived in a 3-star hotel on the first line 50 meters from the beach (by the way, their hotel did not differ much from Mimosa in terms of accommodation) they only took breakfast, the rest of the time they ate in local restaurants and spent about the same money as we lived in 4 stars, eating just awful, and this road to the sea is worth something.....
P. S. I put 4 points for entertainment only because every evening we visited a children's disco - the child really liked to dance with all the children for half an hour (the animators tried very hard). After the disco, every evening there was a program with various skits, competitions (we sat and laughed a couple of times).
Those people who rested in Turkey in 5 stars, there is nothing to do in Bulgaria in 4. (I know from my own experience) rested in Papillon.
The hotel was chosen at random: the first thing that was offered by the agency, and what was arranged for the price.
The hotel has good, quality food, there were days of Bulgarian, Mexican and Indian cuisine. A lot of fruits (grapes, watermelons, melons, peaches, apples, oranges, bananas) - so you didn’t even have to buy anything on the street. We ate so much at the hotel restaurant that we didn’t even look in the direction of local cafe-bars. tables after the previous eaters (the staff either does not want to, or does not have time to clean up).
The view from the room was the so-called "park", which we did not regret for a second. Since it is cheaper and really quieter, because if you have a "Sea View", then you automatically get a view of the pool with the squealing of children, and all the animation during the day, and the music in the pool bar , and on the Germans constantly hanging out there (near the bar).
There really is a road around the hotel (from all sides), but this is, firstly, in all the hotels of this resort, and secondly, these are narrow paths in many places with one-way traffic, and not at all Leninsky Prospekt, as it was written in one of the reviews .
By the way, instead of an excursion, we bought a map and a guide and rented a car 2 times. Travel Plus agency on the way to the beach. We went to Nessebar, Varna, Aladzha-monastery (rocky), to Cape Kaliakra, to the archaeological reservation of Yaalata (by the way, tourists are not taken there by bus) - there are rocks on the seashore and caves of the 5th century BC in them.
On the way we stopped at a cafe, the food is very tasty, we tried local soups and meat.
Bottom line: I didn’t want to leave categorically and we recommend everyone to stay in Bulgaria and the hotel !!!!!!!!!
Good luck! : ))))))))))
