I was on vacation at the end of September. I arrived at the hotel around 12:00 pm, given the situation in Ukraine, it took about 24 hours to get there by bus. And upon arrival I just wanted to take a shower and change clothes. But at the reception they made it clear that check-in would be at 14:00, and what’s more, they didn’t let us in for lunch??? ? I didn’t expect condescension or pity, but the elementary factor of humanity was missing.

I didn’t expect condescension or pity, but the elementary factor of humanity was missing. The young lady at the reception is called Kapka. This is just a small thing, they gave me the key to the room at 14:20 (there was no porter), when I got to the room, I looked around the room (I had a view of the park) and decided to go change it with an additional payment with a view of the sea. Number 2209. Approaching this young lady (Kapka) I asked about the options, to which she replied - the additional payment for a sea view will be $150??? ? Despite the fact that we were the last tourists who were closing the season (hotel) Is this too much??? ? I wanted to contact the manager (name Pavlet), they promised me feedback, but I never received it (. Conclusion: arrogance and unprofessionalism are off the charts.
Please reconsider who greets your guests! Now about the good stuff) The hotel is colorful, the rooms are spacious, the food is delicious and varied. First line, gorgeous swimming pool. Very sensitive and pleasant staff in the restaurant and bars (well done girls?? ) Special thanks to the maid Didi, very caring and friendly, and the figures she made every day were incredibly nice) The mini bar was replenished every day. Wi fi is free, even in the rooms.

The location is just perfect for those who come to hang out: it feels like you are in the center of a huge disco, only the room is without a roof, there are pools nearby and the sea is not far. A kind of open-air. Youth is the best, but for the elderly or tourists with children it is better to choose another place.

A kind of open-air. Youth is the best, but for the elderly or tourists with children it is better to choose another place. Even on the beach (naturally municipal) music plays from morning to evening. The beach, by the way, is very gentle, like the sea. Sand without debris and solid objects such as stones or pebbles, which is found in Bulgaria.
I note a very high quality and varied food. Dishes are rarely repeated, a lot of fruits: watermelons, melons, cherries, grapefruits, kiwi. Several meat dishes, always something cooked on coals, a lot of fish, various shrimps, squids.
The room is great, very spacious. The renovation is quite fresh, the equipment is also new. Free mini-bar with beer, cola, mineral water.
The staff is friendly. All issues were resolved quickly, sometimes even in Russian. Some have already learned to speak. In general, I liked everything very much.

There are rusty faucets in the room, cracked pipes, the air conditioner does not work well, the bed is not changed at all, and they are also forced to pay 100 euros for the fact that the bed was treated carelessly, for complaints to the hotel administrator about the staff they threaten to plant drugs in the room and call the police, the meat is rotten.

If you don't want to ruin your vacation and throw money away, don't choose this hotel. The hotel is modern, the rooms are large and spacious which is a plus. The service is disgusting, the food is monotonous, the housekeeping is ugly, there is no entertainment, the beach is paid (umbrella, sunbed), by the pool, in order to relax, you need to have time to take a sunbed from 06-00 in the morning.

Tours are not interesting. The country is poor, there is nothing to look at. It's not worth spending money. The hotel is a maximum of 3 stars.

People if you do not want to throw money away and ruin your vacation, then do not try to relax in this hotel. I honestly regret wasted time and money. The hotel pulls a maximum of a weak four. Service is disgusting, food is monotonous, there is no entertainment not for children, not for adults, housekeeping is disgusting.

There is no beach - everything is paid on the beach (sunbed, umbrella). The hotel is located at the crossroads of two main roads, the constant movement of cars, the hotel does not have its own territory. Excursions are not interesting, except for a trip to the Botanical Garden. In order to relax by the pool, you need to take a sunbed from 6 in the morning. In a word, the choice is yours. Personally, I didn't like it.

For the first time in Bulgaria. I really liked the hotel. Spacious room with sea view (although probably there are all rooms with sea view). Wonderful, albeit paid beaches. Minus one - we had breakfast and dinner included. For dinner, if you do not have all-inclusive, you can only drink something for money.

Minus one - we had breakfast and dinner included. For dinner, if you do not have all-inclusive, you can only drink something for money. It makes sense to buy a tour with breakfast only. There are many excellent cafes around where you can have a decent meal. But I would not take a small child under 3 years old with me. But probably this is purely my personal opinion. The resort is full of future mothers and parents, even with babies. Good excursions. But still, the main asset is a sandy beach with a gentle coast, a flat bottom and waves. Older children unite in groups and meet each wave with joyful cries (in principle, like adults. In general, I never regretted the trip.

Immediately, I note that the overall impression of the hotel corresponds to the impression of the state - poor, impoverished Bulgaria. The hotel, regardless of anyone's previously read reviews, does not correspond to a 5 * hotel, max-4 *, but in terms of attitude towards tourists, food-3 * .
In the room immediately upon arrival called the maid and the manager of the hotel, because. black mold covered the tub adjoining the wall. The rooms were cleaned superficially, the carpet was full of hair from previous tourists. The air conditioner did not work, even after the repair by the masters there was no cold air - apparently they save on electricity.
At first glance, the food seems to be nothing, but for 2-3 days I didn’t want to look at anything anymore - every day fried eggs, semolina, breakfast cereals, sausages, cooks try to cook pancakes right in the hall, but everything is on fire on the stove, stinks. Juices - powder Yupi, tea bags - the cheapest - solid rubbish, coffee - 3 in one.
The staff is focused solely on money, not services. We tried to use the Internet - in the hotel there is one broken-down computer with a non-working keyboard in full, without a camera and microphone, 2 euros per hour.
If you want to relax against the backdrop of the riot of German and Romanian youth, then you are in Golden Sands, until 5 o’clock in the morning the music and screams do not stop. Plastic windows do not save either. umbrella, 8-bed, 3-mattress) for one person. The famous Golden Sands Beaches are dirty, spitted with cigarette butts, bottle caps, cleaned lazily and only where you show.
A cafe on the beach - with dirty sofas flooded with coffee and beer, barkers grab your hands and drag you into the cafe, and if you refuse, they swear for nothing.
Taxi drivers are angry, impudent, they strive to breed money, they asked for 20 lev to Varna, and after a little squabble they drove for 7-10 lev.
The bulk of the goods in stores are something second-hand in Moscow.
Were in Byala, Obzor. There is a hotel-20-30 leva per day, quiet, calm, everything is free on the beach.
Beware of exchangers - there is a continuous scam on the course: if on the street a sign is 1 euro - 1.95 leva, then inside - 1 euro - 1.59 leva.
Guides, however, offered to change them for 1 euro - 1.8 leva. In Varna, we changed in a bank on the street. Prince Boris 1 euro - 1.9515 leva.
CONCLUSION: look for other places to stay, Bulgaria, even in the declared version of Marina Grand Beach 5 * - this is only for extreme people.

Tour operator, apparently knows nothing about the rest in 5 *! Did not like anything, we lived in apartments with two small children. The food is disgusting, there was nothing to feed the children for breakfast, no yogurt, no cereal, no milk! Lunch and dinner feed for rabbits and pigs! The pool area is dirty, all inclusive - disgusting swill! The beach is dirty! Moreover, the children fell ill on the third day, SARS with langotracheitis, and the local Bulgarians said they always had this virus at that time! In short, people have a rest for normal money in civilized countries! A chicken is not a bird - BULGARIA is not a foreign country, this is a SCOOP -80-90 years !!!!!!! !.

Hotel. Pros and cons. Placed with my husband on the 7th floor overlooking the sea. The room was cleaned every day and the bed was changed every other day. There were no complaints about cleaning at all. But there is a first safe in the room, but you have to pay for it. and if there was a safe in the room, then you don’t have to pay for it, We don’t pay for the TV that is in the room, for the hairdryer that is in the shower.

But there is a first safe in the room, but you have to pay for it. and if there was a safe in the room, then you don’t have to pay for it, We don’t pay for the TV that is in the room, for the hairdryer that is in the shower. Here you have to pay 60 lev. For 2 weeks and take it at the reception. This is the first . The second is a large hotel, there are not enough sunbeds near the pools, towels that they are occupied for days. Near the sea there is a large piece of a paid area where you have to pay 7 lev for a sunbed + 3 lev. for a mattress. + 5 for an umbrella. 20 lev, which translates to 10 euros. Isn’t it too expensive. You came on vacation, you want to sleep, have breakfast, take a shower and then go to the beach. that people spread their towels and were kicked out of the supposedly paid area. Very humiliating. Since the beach is a city, people come or from other hotels. There were a lot of people during this period. Like sprats in a bank, sometimes you even had to watch how to get to the sea in order to carry someone's towel. The third is animation. As stated in the price list, it is, but it is not . Again, the animation is in German and Bulgarian. , needs. I liked the rest in general. We went to Sofia, Balchik. Plovdiv. Bring cosmetics and wine.

We were in Bulgaria for the first time, with a 6-year-old child. We ordered a regular room with a sea view, but for some reason they settled in a two-room apartment with a huge balcony. Hooray!! ! The sea view is amazing. The sea is super, clean, warm. The city is clean, beautiful, there are a lot of entertainment and restaurants, music on the beach! If you find fault with the correspondence of the five stars of the hotel, then the bed remained "soviet" white and full of holes, but clean, white washed robes do not look very good (like in a hospital).

If you find fault with the correspondence of the five stars of the hotel, then the bed remained "soviet" white and full of holes, but clean, white washed robes do not look very good (like in a hospital). The room was cleaned every day. Now the food: hungry, of course, were not, but there was variety there wasn’t much, breakfasts were the same every day (eggs, sausages, pancakes, cheese, a bunch of boiled beans), for lunch and dinner they fried something (steak, sausages, chicken fillet) stewed vegetables. Fruits were not seasonal bananas, oranges; there was a watermelon and an unripe hard nectarine.
In principle, we didn’t have a bad rest, we were positive, we swam, we got tanned!
