One thing I didn't like was that we arrived by bus at 5 o'clock in the morning, and the check-in took place at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, that is, we had nowhere to wash, change our clothes, it was not convenient. I liked everything else in the hotel: friendly staff, clean room, a lot of food to choose from. I liked the food, the food is delicious, different types of meat. The area is quite large, there is a place to walk, a place to take pictures, you can sit by the pool, sunbathe. It was 7-10 minutes to go to the beach, not so fast, but we did not choose on the first shore line, we had an hour to walk, look. Souvenirs were sold nearby, there were some cafes where you could have a snack.
The staff is friendly, the guide accompanied us from Ukraine to Bulgaria by bus, and the hotel did not have such a guide who would offer us tours. The main inconvenience is that you have to wait a long time to settle.

The hotel was a C-grade on a five-point scale, the check-in went in no way, we ourselves went where we needed with our suitcases, no one met us, no one showed the hotel, we were on our own. They don't speak English or Russian at the reception. USSR room, no cleaning until you force it, you don’t ask, it’s dirty everywhere, the price does not match the quality.

The beach is good, you can take a train from the hotel, you can walk, the location of the hotel is also not bad.

The hotel is normal 4 *, located on the same territory as the hotel "Double Tree by Hilton 5 *" the owner is one and everything is combined! The food is good, the service is the same, the ALL system is open from 10:00 to 23:00, the pools are clean (outdoor pool - 2 pcs. , Indoor heated pool - 1 pcs. ). Spoiled the rest - a flight, a ticket must be taken with a flight from the airport "Borispol", and we had "Kyiv-Zhulyany" and therefore dubious airlines, to Bulgaria on an ATR72 plane (turboprop, but new and the airline is not bad "Utare", but turboprop) flew 2.

In general, for the amount of rest as in Crimea, you get services and comfort that simply do not exist in Crimea!

Yesterday I flew in from Varna. The most negative memories remained from the hotel: the room was never cleaned at all, only once the garbage was removed from the trash can. Bed linen was not changed, I ran for three days for the duty officer with only one purpose - to get towels. Floors - textile coating. They are already so saturated with moisture and sand that it is absolutely impossible to breathe in the room.

The balcony was never cleaned at all.
There was a table of dubious appearance. There were no chairs. The fridge in the room either cooled or heated. Just awful!!!
Around the pool, the floors are covered with large tiles (I'm not a builder and I don't know the correct name for this coating) This coating is always wet and slippery. Both adults and children fell.
Conclusion: never!! !

Before this trip to Bulgaria, I rested only in Turkey, so there is something to compare with. Heaven and earth. Immediately striking unwashed glass tables and mirrors. For me personally, this is a complete failure. Clean utensils - like knives and forks are not wiped at all, and sometimes with the remnants of previous food. Broken edges of the cups (40%) were argued by the lack of budget. With ashtrays in general, whoever had time, but no, the waiter will shrug his shoulders and bring you a plastic glass of water. As for the beach, you have to go down three stairs and then go up (after the sea and the sun, pleasure is not for the faint of heart), but unfortunately this is the shortest way. The floor near the pool and the open area of the restaurant is not washed. Maybe once or twice a week. You walk and stick to the remains of ice cream and juices. It just annoys me.
Until the girl broke her arm, the hotel management would not have thought to put a non-slip carpet between the pool and the children's slide. As for food, there is more or less. Delicious food but little choice. And my little advice, look for hotels like Admiral 5* and Melia Grand Hermitage 5*. Let a little more expensive, but at least there will be good impressions from a holiday in Bulgaria. Personally, on the first day, the thought came to my mind: "What am I doing here? " Well, of course, it's up to you to decide....I wish you a pleasant stay!

I rested with a child of 12 years in July. I really liked the hotel itself. Very cozy, accommodating. In the room from the first day you feel at home. We took a standard room with a view of the park. Large room, double bed, TV, bedside tables, small TV, wardrobes, balcony. Meals - we took only breakfast, everything is fresh, tasty, but monotonous (although this did not bother).

Meals - we took only breakfast, everything is fresh, tasty, but monotonous (although this did not bother). The only drawback is tea and coffee from the machine. Coffee is disgusting, tea was not always available (in bags). If you arrive early, a large selection of fruits. And for breakfast, several types of sausages, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, porridge, cucumbers, tomatoes, delicious baked cheese and buns. Although we did not have lunch, the restaurant had a menu of a certain country every day. In general, there are no problems with food in Golden Sands, there are cafes with a very tasty menu at every step.
The hotel staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The maids are caring, cleaned well, you can approach the reception with any question. Every day animation for both adults and children.
The hotel has three swimming pools, two outdoor and one indoor, quite large, the child was delighted.
The beaches on the golden sands are clean, the only thing is that it turns out to be quite expensive to buy sun loungers and umbrellas every time. From Nelios to the Riviera beach, a train runs once an hour, and a bus runs to its own beach by appointment.
Sami Golden Sands is a small resort town, mainly for young people, full of clubs and discos. Personally, I didn’t have enough attractions and more shops (they couldn’t even buy a plate at the resort)
We went from Solveks. Very satisfied. The flight there was delayed, but not through the fault of Solvex. We were met at the airport, taken to the hotel, the next day we met with a representative - Vladimir (special thanks). Sorented on excursions, changed money, helped with a SIM card. Any day you can call with any request.
Liked the tours. Were in Varna, in the Bulgarian village, at a glass factory, in Nessebar.
In general, I liked the rest.

Rested in June 2011. Previously studied all the reviews about Bulgaria and Golden Sands in particular. We had a great rest. We took only breakfast, which we did not regret! the food is monotonous (scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried sausages, bacon, bread, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese) and so 7 breakfasts in a row, but we dined in cafes (there are insanely many of them) and there we came off to the fullest.

The portions are huge and sooo tasty, for dinner it cost 50 leva (1000 r) for two.
It was a long walk to the sea. mostly disappeared by the pool, there was no animation at all. Beach towels were given out free of charge and they could be changed at least 10 times a day. The staff is smiling, but they either don’t speak Russian or very badly, they explained it in broken English)))
WARNING: do not change money in exchangers!! ! it is better to do this with a representative of the tour operator (changed at the rate of 1 euro - 1.9 leva) or at the Raiffeisen bank (Admiral Hotel)
Have a nice holiday!!! )))

Good afternoon! We rested in Helios 4 * from 08/01/2010 to 08/09/2010, on ALL Inclusive. The most positive emotions remained. The hotel building, lobby - really look chic. Spacious room overlooking the sea and the pool. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, but this is a trifle (even too lazy to report a breakdown to the front desk).

The hotel staff is very responsive, no language barrier. The bulb in the lamp burned out - changed after 20 minutes. after our phone call. Meals: 1) breakfast - monotonous, but tasty, 2) lunch and dinner - everything is fine (types of meat dishes changed every day), fish - always beyond praise. The only remark - because. there are a lot of vacationers in the hotel, it seemed that the staff was somehow not enough for such a number of people. It is also better to take places by the pool at 8-00 in the morning. But to be honest, lying by the pool all day did not give much pleasure, we went to the sea. The hotel has its own beach (a minibus from the hotel goes there every day from 10-00 to 18-00 every 15-20 minutes. The beach must be ordered in advance at the front desk at the concierge, the cost for 2 people is 10 leva (in the price includes 2 umbrellas, 2 sun loungers, there are drinks on the beach, for all - free). Once I was on a public beach, so there I paid 27 leva for 2 umbrellas and 2 sun loungers. The sea, the beach - everything is super. Vacationers at the hotel are Germans , British, Italians, French, Turks, Russians and Ukrainians are few.
To be honest, I came to the conclusion that All Inclusive is not really needed in Bulgaria, because. the infrastructure of the resort is developed at a very high level (unlike Turkey, for example). Food and drinks are quite inexpensive (and quite cheap compared to the same Turkey). A hearty dinner in a tavern with meat, beer and dessert for two cost about 18-20 leva (9-10 euros). The pubs on the beach itself are a bit more expensive. I really liked the Aquapolis water park (located 150 meters from the hotel), entrance - 30 leva per adult (cheaper than in water parks in Ukraine).
Because the hotel is on a hill - there is no noise from the night resort, quiet and peaceful. But the resort center is within easy reach, just go down the stairs and you're already there. For lovers of nightclubs, I want to note ARROGANCE Music Factory (in my opinion the best nightclub in the resort, entrance is 5 leva per person).
All in all, I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday. Everything is in order (at least this year).
EVERYONE have a pleasant stay and unforgettable impressions! !

My message is for those who don't want to ruin their holiday. I will say in advance that, compared to the total mass of hotels in Golden Sands, perhaps this option is one of the best. But the total mass is three rubles of socialist life, and then everything is relative. Summary: my son and friends were shocked.

My message is for those who don't want to ruin their holiday. I will say in advance that, compared to the total mass of hotels in Golden Sands, perhaps this option is one of the best. But the total mass is three rubles of socialist life, and then everything is relative.
Summary: my son and friends were shocked. I am shocked by the room service, by the catering and the behavior of the waiters (who are essentially absent) and the staff in general, by the stupidity of the reception, by the uselessness of complaining about anything. By the way, in the descriptions of the hotel on the Internet pages it is indicated that the hotel has its own beach, umbrellas and sunbeds for free. This is not entirely true - read below.
In order:
- The hotel is located on the 10th line from the coast, there was no beach until July 9th. Then they announced that they had organized a private hotel beach, which you can get to, but after signing up for a transfer, which is carried out by some kind of car. And if you signed up, then you must go to this beach, as your "all inclusive" is automatically transferred there. To be transported back to the hotel, you must agree with the beach manager in advance. If you live in a 4 * building, then you still have 10 levs for an umbrella and a sunbed, which is 5 euros (or 200 rubles). Walk 20 minutes.
- The hotel has a free delivery on a nice train to the nearest beach of the Riviera Hotel, but the entrance is paid.
- Insane room service. On the 3rd day, when the bed linen was not changed, I left a remark at the reception. After that, they stopped changing towels on time. In general, they changed after I called and complained. And sometimes dirty towels were rolled up and hung back. Nobody designed any swans. As a result, the cleaners sabotaged our room and didn't even clean it for the last 3 days. Neighbors put money on the bedside table and they had no problems. As soon as they didn't, the cleaning was over. I heard my neighbor screaming at the reception.
- Restaurant for a 4* building. To call it this word is absolutely impossible. This is a McDonald's with poorly trained staff. Because there are no free tables. Empty tables are littered with food and plates of departed eaters. The waiters are in no hurry to clean it up. If you think they are carrying drinks, then you are a deeply spoiled tourist. This hotel doesn't even have that. There are no more than 3 waiters in the hall. These three walk past you with plates and dump the leftovers into waste bins. The tanks are on trolleys, there are exactly three trolleys, but they are located in the hall in such a way that it is impossible not to see them or hear them. Wherever you sit down, waste is drained near your ear. By our departure, another hall was opened, it was clean, quiet, there were more waiters and the waiters were all young guys and even helpful, there was even a hope that they could work and everything would work out for them. The 5 * building has its own restaurant and we were not there.
- Food. At first we were delighted with the food, which is really different from the Egyptian or Turkish buffet. But then we realized that this is the same thing only a side view. Day 6-7 the menu was reduced, there was literally nothing to eat. Few fruits, watermelon once a week. There are bananas, apples, green or rotting peaches with nectarines. Salads are undisguisedly made from leftovers not eaten for lunch or dinner. The salt was wet, it had not shaken out of the salt shaker. When asked to give dry salt, the restaurant manager replied that there was none, since the sea is nearby and everything is wet. Bulgarian nonsense. After such statements, you begin to understand that the general level of education in Bulgaria is 6 grades, no more.
Drinks: By the end of the lunch or dinner time, they run out and are not replenished. Limit.
- Swimming pool. There are 3 pools. One large one with 2 slides, 2nd paddling pool, 3rd children's circle. Around the large pool fits 30 sunbeds, the hotel does not have mattresses. Here is the animation.
- Animation. Mediocre attempt of Egyptian animation. The songs and amusements are exactly the same, but the performance is amateurish. As if you are going to have an operation, and you understand that not doctors, but interns will do it. What was constantly visible from the animation was the game of darts. But we didn’t go to their events, so we can’t say more.
There was another joke that we could not decipher. There was live music at dinner in the restaurant. The girl played popular compositions on the synthesizer without vocal accompaniment. Dinner lasts from 18.00 to 21.00. So, when we came to dinner at 19.00, she already ate with all the guests in the same restaurant. What she did next, we did not see. Went home? Strange contract for the provision of services to the hotel.
- Reception. They work in shifts. One shift says one thing, the other says the exact opposite. And it is completely incomprehensible what their coldness depends on. Probably from illiteracy. It is better to pretend not to speak Russian than to think about how to solve the problem.
For example, we paid for a private beach (we decided to take a last look), ordered transport. In the morning we got up - it was raining, the sky was clouded. Coldly. We are at the reception - to inform that we are not going and there is no need for transport and give the money. The Russian-speaking girl said that the money is not returned, but you can reschedule the beach day. I did not argue, and, despite the fact that we are leaving tomorrow, we have rescheduled for tomorrow, we are leaving late. The next day the rain did not stop, but the bad weather broke out. We are at the reception. There is already another shift and they gave us the money. By the way, the issue of the room was immediately resolved, which we did not have to release at 12.00, since we arrived in the morning of the paid day. And the day before, the previous shift said menacingly that it was necessary to release them in the computer and they had all payments fixed. And we don't get paid. A fresh shift even showed the monitor, where it was recorded that the room was paid for before 20.00.
- Wash. One pair of socks - 2 leva (1 euro). I wanted to make fun and give 1 pair of socks to the wash so that they could run the machine for 1 pair. But then I realized that they would wash in a common heap. But how do they erase everything else? If white, then with someone else's white? There is no self service. Or did I again communicate with the wrong shift at the reception? : )
What's good?
- Immediately gave a room with a sea view, as stated in the contract.
- A spa center that does massages of various kinds and is quite good. But stock up for these purposes with money. Cheaper than in Moscow, but still money. By the way, I did some light marketing and called other hotels that advertised that they do hydromassage. But they apologized and said that their equipment was broken.
- Free train to the beach of the Riviera. Although the beach is paid, it differs significantly in a good way from all other beaches. And the sea is clean, and the crabs run around and the view is gorgeous. There is also a romantic-looking restaurant on the beach with classical music.
So, good people, think for yourself, decide for yourself. But everything I wrote is the absolute truth.

In Helios 4 * we rested from June 7 to 18.2010. The hotel complex includes 5 *, 4 * and 3 * (although at that time it was in a collapsed state and it was being renovated). We really liked the hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room was cleaned and towels changed every day, the bed was changed 2 times in 10 days.

We really liked the hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room was cleaned and towels changed every day, the bed was changed 2 times in 10 days. but at the expense of food (we only had breakfast), so every day the same thing (all this monotony was tired in 10 days). And they fed well.
On the territory there are 3 swimming pools, one of them for children, and 4 are indoors, water slides, cafe, night club, spa, fitness club, sauna, playroom for children... whatever you want. The animation is very good, especially they have interesting programs for children.
It takes about 15 minutes to go from the hotel to the sea. Every hour a small train runs from the hotel to the sea for free.
Golden Sands is an expensive resort. Since we only had breakfast, we went to cafes for lunch and dinner. Prices are expensive there. The closer to the sea, the more expensive. For example, a dinner for two cost us from 40 to 85 lev (we practically did not deny ourselves anything).
And had such a great time : )
