Settled on the 4th floor in a room overlooking the sea, the room itself is spacious, clean, bright. Cleaning daily. To the sea on foot about 15 minutes, if not in a hurry. Here's the path itself - almost a quest. You have to dive into the bushes, barely seeing the path there, go through gateways, through shops, etc. But you quickly got used to it. The food at the hotel is 3 out of 5. The worst thing is that everything ends quickly and you just have to be late for the start of the meal, as you see empty tables, the second minus is the daily monotony. With all this, there were no hungry, so we will not find fault. Internet at the reception and in the restaurant is free. For Internet in the room you will have to pay 5 lev per day. The pool is clean and the water is warm. Many guests spent their holidays like this - cruising from the restaurant to the pool. Golden sands beach pleased. Before the trip, they read about its cleanliness and well-being and, fortunately, were convinced of the correctness of these words. Indeed, the beach is very clean, the sand is fine and very pleasant. The sea is amazing!!! In the evening, the main promenade comes alive, full of shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes. It is long, a walk from one end to the other will take more than an hour. A large number of excursions are offered on the spot, both to nearby places, and quite distant ones - to Bucharest and Istanbul. For a trip to Bucharest, you need a Schengen visa, for a trip to Istanbul - a double-entry Bulgarian visa. We went on a two-day excursion to Istanbul, which will be discussed separately. Not far from Golden Sands is Varna, which can be reached either by taxi for 18 levs, or by bus - for 3 levs. You should definitely go there - a wonderful resort town with its own special charming atmosphere! In general, the result is this - it's good in Bulgaria !! !

Soviet building. In the so-called lobby bar (3 armchairs and two double sofas for the whole hotel) there is Internet (Wi-Fi). If you need to work or just read, you have to catch a moment to sit down. If there are many users, and these are 5-6 people, then each page will load for a very, very long time.
2. A restaurant with so many flies !!! ! that the hand does not rise straight to write the word restaurant. One way or another, the sign is up. I would not buy food at the hotel, but the tour company said the hotel sells tours only with the condition "all inclusive". I can’t say that I’m very picky, but....

VEGETABLES:
1. tomatoes (this impression is selected from waste material)
2. cucumbers
3. cabbage
4. lettuce leaves (sluggish)
5. onions, carrots, greens
FRUITS:
1. plum is inedible
2. third grade peach
3. kavun
4. melon
All vegetables and fruits, honestly, I just thought for a long time, where do they find them?? ? such an impression that they are their waste, 3 or grade. It’s just a shame, really, for our money you can’t at least buy them normal. But there is no free food!
Hot dishes - all from the MIVINA series: potatoes, pasta, etc.
I won’t even write about meat, fish. I tried it once and that's it!
THE DRINKS:
THIS IS A KASHMAR! I think not a single adult, and even more so a child, can drink this muck! They were of different colors - yellow, green red....Tap water stank of bleach. Drinking is impossible.
Coffee is also from the device, a rare muck. Buy espresso in the hotel nowhere. No coffee machine! Wine and beer included in the "all inclusive" just slop! It stinks badass!
3. To the sea, to the beach to go for 15-20 minutes. On an uneven road, with broken paving stones and steps (also uneven and broken). Down in the morning it still somehow went on, but at lunch or in the evening from the beach, it's a nightmare and anguish!

When we first arrived, they appreciated that it was clean, new towels....but when I lifted the bedspread from the bed, the bed was grayish, and there was sand on it. Lies disgusting! At the first change of towels, we were given old grayish towels. Ie they have new ones only upon arrival, so as not to change their minds.
The appearance of cleaning was done every day, but the room was dirty - sand, hair on the floor..... There is no hot water during the day (from 11 to 15), they save.
There is so much more to write! But I think this is enough. I just do not recommend going there, ruining your mood and vacation. I want to say right away that I have been in Bulgaria both in summer and winter for the last 10 years. Usually I try to go to different places, it's more interesting. But this time I got it. And that's why I spent so much time to be useful to you. I tried to look for a whole week for something positive..... And to be honest, for the first time in my life I ate "I lived there" my vacation and I was so happy when it ended!
Of course, you can be content with little, but all the same, a person works for a year and he wants to rest in normal conditions.

We rested in Bulgaria in August 2008 at the Golden Sands resort in the Joya Park 3 * hotel. They were very satisfied. Although at first, "thanks" to some articles on the Internet and topics on the forums, they doubted whether it was worth going. The country is interesting.
