My husband and I were at the beginning of this summer in Astera on the golden sands. The hotel is good, 4 stars correspond to 5-ke in the same Turkey. Now in detail:
food - ultra, which includes not only local drinks, but also the elite. Minus - for a week they could not look at martini and campari, soft drink - a standard bodyaga in the form of pepsi and juices, but quite tolerable. Breakfasts are the same every day, but lunches and dinners are super, several times a week there were themed days - Italian, Oriental, Bulgarian and other cuisines. Very tasty ice cream with topping, you could eat in unlimited quantities. I do not advise beer, if you do not like strong alcohol - make cocktails based on the elite. I liked the local rose-based liqueur.
Infrastructure - there is no hotel territory, but there is a place to walk, there is a beach, sunbeds are free, but you need to walk a little to it, at the reception they give a memo upon request. Excellent pool with mineral water in the spa center, sauna and Roman steam room.

For residents of large cities, there is a large clothing market along the coastline among cafes and other things, the prices are quite reasonable, because in Turkey they were close to our boutique ones in the market. Swimwear, slippers, bathing accessories - it is better to buy there, in Kyiv our prices are many times higher even in the market.
The hotel has a casino and a disco, so families with children should choose something else. Many complained about the noise and the lack of round-the-clock entertainment for children, although, as for me, the animators tried their best.
I didn't like the disco - it's full of German teenagers, maybe we're just not "at the age of the disco" already, but those who are 18-22 years old will surely like it.
The hotel is predominantly German, like the entire resort, sabotage in the style of "TAGILL" is also arranged mainly by the Germans, ours, on the contrary, are calm.
