With children 7 and 12 years old, you can’t really travel on the south coast (my opinion). Nessebar, Sozopol - they are not very interested yet. From the northern coast, they have the most interesting things, but it is far, more than 100 km. I advise you not to go from the meeting side, but to look at the malls, there are offers in the middle and there is also a travel agency. It will be cheaper. They will tell you about the proposed options, and you will decide whether you need it or not. All excursions depart from the center, they do not drive up to hotels. because mountain resort. For a child of 7 years old, there was free animation in the Amphitheater on Sundays, and a child of 12 years old will be bored. Although I don’t know which hotel you are going to, maybe the hotel will have animation?

Last year, with my 12-year-old son, I went on an excursion to Sozopol - Ropotamo. I didn't like it because of the guide, but what had nothing to do with the guide was interesting. My son liked the walk along the Ropotamo River, we saw turtles, many different unusual birds, but if you are not lucky with the weather, you will not see anyone. And I liked the Fortress Wall Museum in Sozopol, which we visited ourselves when we were given 1.5 hours of free time. The guide, by the way, did not even say that there is a museum in the city, we accidentally went to it ... My son also really liked the excursion to Shipka, but it is hard in the heat and it will be difficult for the younger one. Look at the place, what they offer, I think you will sort it out there!

As a teacher, I can recommend you Sozopol (without Ropotamo), the Balkan circus, from Nessebar - a walk on a yacht (I have a photo), Cape Kaliakra, Balchik (botanical garden), the resort itself you have chosen is not successful.

I agree with Lora60. St. Vlas is not very suitable, especially for a child of 12 years old. And on an excursion to Balchik it is very far away, it will be difficult for a child of 7 years old. We go on this excursion every time we have a rest on the northern coast: in Albena, Kranevo, St. Konstantin. And from the south coast, in my opinion, it makes no sense, it is better to postpone until the next trip to another resort. You can take a boat trip, but they don’t take you from Vlas. You can from Sunny Beach or Nessebar. I liked the Sliven-Zheravna tour, but the children will be bored, besides, there is a descent by cable car, but what about the two of them? Probably, you will have to limit yourself to a beach holiday. And next time it is better to consult with experts where it is better to go.

Thanks everyone for the replies! We are going to the St. George hotel. Reviews about it are not bad. There is no actual animation. According to the reviews, I also liked the yacht picnic with a landing on the shore. I think the boys will be interested. The main thing is to tune in to the positive!

We were on a yacht picnic, but I don’t remember which resort we went from. At least it's nice to ride on the sea. We had it more for youth than for children. There are Pirate Parties for kids from the north coast. If you go next year, then take the Varna region better, you won’t regret it, this is a completely different vacation for you and the kids. Or even Sunny Beach (there is better only for the guys, it will be tiring for you).

There is also a pirate party on the south coast. We were, but I completely forgot about it, it's not really an excursion, but more fun. But we were unlucky with the weather, there was a storm and, of course, they didn’t take us by sea (((. Everything was on a yacht, but in the port (((. It’s interesting for a child.

My advice to all vacationers is to travel only Sol Melia ... I have raised children there for 20 years))))) my youngest son even works in this system ... in Bulgaria it is Sol Nessebar Bay ..... excellent quality and Spanish service...we only travel to these hotels
