Food St. Vlas
We are planning a vacation in June 2016 St. Vlas, in the Venus hotel. Meals are not provided, there is no kitchen. How expensive is it to eat in restaurants. If possible in leva or euro. Or is it better to look for half board?

In the description of your hotel there is a restaurant, they offer a breakfast buffet, and everything else is on the menu. Try it there, if you don't like it, you can eat elsewhere

Find here in the reviews above on Sveti Vlas, they answered there, though three years ago, about prices in shops and cafes there

Bulgaria is definitely a country where you need to eat in restaurants. Previously, especially in such resort villages as St. Vlas, Pomorie, Ravda ... there were super large portions at very low prices. But the situation has changed and now it is very expensive, every day there is a restaurant.
But Vlas is a cluster of not very expensive places, because. big competition.
during the first days of eating in restaurants, you will study the menus that very often lie at the entrance to the restaurant. after watching it, you can always say "Many thanks to you" (thank you very much) and move on.
this will help you shape your diet and tailor it to your needs.
near the square there is a type of fast food. there and, of course, not only there, they prepare bannitsy. I have been living in different places in Bulgaria for five years and have always eaten this super breakfast. if you like it. bakeries are open since early morning. you can buy and eat at home with your tea or coffee bought, if you do not like instant. but best of all is Kiselo Mlyako (a type of curdled milk).

... a dumpling of soup - bushy. you can eat at home with your own bread and salad made by yourself. there are shops everywhere.
but dinner, of course, I want something more serious, fish, meat.
I won’t write in leva, the situation is fluid, but I will say that it’s not cheap, the European Union is all the same. will have to adjust.
but if I chose now, I would go to Pomorye. there is no mountain and a little, but cheaper.
*ask at the hotel if there is a shared kitchen.
I hope it helped somehow.

Restaurants in St. Vlas are not cheap. It is better to take with food. We were in the hotels Sineva-Park and Iris on All. I am not a supporter of standing at the stove on vacation. Better, of course, in a cafe. But this is not a budget holiday. I agree with Kidcafe, it is better to go to cafes in Pomorie, as well as in Nessebar, Kranevo. And keep in mind that St. Vlas is a very hilly resort, not everyone likes it. And there are a lot of people there. and no entertainment. So the resort is not for everyone. Weigh all the pros and cons so as not to be mistaken. There are many good resorts and hotels in Bulgaria.

Not far from your hotel there are restaurants "Victorio". "Siyana", "Neptune". In "Neptune" 60 lev per day was enough for two, in the center on Tsar Simeon Street you can find cheaper ones, there are a lot of them, the quality is good. If the hotel has a restaurant, then the costs will be less.
