Is it expensive to eat in Sozlopole compared to Golden Sands, Sunny Beach
Please tell me how much per person (with an average appetite, preferring local cuisine to hamburgers :)) is worth eating per day in Sozopol? Is the resort expensive in this respect?

Good afternoon! I can only compare Sozopol with Nessebar (because I have not been to other cities in Bulgaria). The prices are the same.
Breakfast - depending on what you prefer. If you are interested in a complex lunch, then I think you can eat for 35-40 hryvnias. We often bought fresh pastries (in bakeries) and coffee, + frets, it turned out almost the same, but tastier.
In Sozopol, very often they offer the so-called. a set lunch (at a price of about 50 UAH), which includes the first (national soup), main course and dessert (drinks are not included). It is quite possible to eat.
Dinner depends on where you eat. In the Old City, 30 percent more expensive, but in restaurants. Dinner per person (without alcohol), which will include, for example, fish, meat, vegetables and spoilage (so that it is tasty, original and not very expensive) is 100-150 hryvnias (again, depending on how much a person eats , and what he prefers).
Have a nice rest!

It seems to me that you will quickly give up on "complex" nutrition after tasting Bulgarian cuisine ... But in general, since you compare with ZP and SB, you already know, it means ... Definitely, it’s cheaper in miracle Sozopol than in hyped and advertised resorts. Bon appetit!

you know, in every resort there are good restaurants where it’s definitely a little expensive, but there are ordinary good restaurants where you can eat inexpensively.

Thank you all! Now choose a hotel. The budget is small, we think between Flagship 3 * and Chuchulev 3 *. If there are any reviews about the Flagship, then there are no reviews about the second, although the photo is very decent. Was anyone there? Maybe you can tell me some other option, not on the outskirts and with normal conditions, inexpensively.

Go to "Heru" - super EVERYTHING!

No, not expensive.
I also vote only for breakfasts at the hotel - in Bulgaria, no matter how retsoran, there are a lot of culinary temptations. Bulgarians know how to cook!

1. Prices in Sozopol are lower than in Golden Sands.
2. "Dinner menu" (this is what they call "complex lunch" here) costs 5-6 leva, which is about 2.5-3 euros. But certainly not 50 hryvnia! :-)
3. Prices in restaurants, as well as in hotels, are seasonal - in the "low" season they are lower, in the "High" season they are higher.
4. Hera is a really good hotel. We have stayed there 3 years in a row. Large swimming pool, close to the sea...

It is better to choose restaurants in Sozopol in the New Town, in the Old Town it is much more expensive. Compared to Golden Sands, Sunny Beach is much cheaper, the portions are inhuman. It is more profitable to take a signature dish for two (500 gr) and a salad for 2-3 people (see weight). We were in a private hotel Dima (not very) and Ivan Lazarov (good and inexpensive). Praise Apolis, Heru. I know that there are good apartments in Familia. The main thing in Sozopol is air conditioning, because very hot.

Hello, we lived at the Flagship Hotel, we liked it, the maids cleaned it every day, in 14 days the bed linen was changed four times. The room is very large - about 20 sq.m. lasted until 4 p.m. Very convenient location - there is a supermarket nearby - prices are lower than market prices. Very often we bought semi-finished products (they immediately cook them for customers on a barbecue). I agree with many that you can eat very tasty and inexpensively in a cafe. We took two meat a dish, two salads, pastries, a beer or a bottle of wine - 18-22 levs.

In Sozopol, we lived in Apolis and stopped several times in Kallithea. Kallithea impressed much more. Regarding food prices - Sozopol is a great option. Cafes at every step, so the hotel is better to take only breakfast. All inclusive - not worth it, just overpay. They cook delicious food in the "Ocean" - it's in the old town, I also liked the bistro "Sozopoli" (not far from the "Ocean"), it's even cheaper there. Pay attention to the weight of the dish (usually it is indicated), because. portions are impressive. By the way, if you are relaxing with children, then near the "Ocean" there is a playground with all sorts of entertainment. Of course, without fanaticism, but still.

Guys, in Sozopol every year it becomes more expensive. Probably due to the fact that people are increasing. We were there 3 times - private hotels Sink, Ivan Lazarov, Dima. But all these hotels are closer to a small beach, Central.. There were a lot of people on it. Now we don’t go to Sozopol, we prefer Nessebar, but if we did, it would be closer to the big beach on Ropotamo. I know from the stories of acquaintances that Chuchulev and Onegin are praised.

We go to Sozopol in early June, and for several years in a row. No price difference was noticed during this time. I don't know how this year. Yes, there were more people last year than in the previous ones. And prices go up towards the end of June.

Yes, early June is not yet the season, it starts from the middle of the month.
