We rested in July 2016 with a company (three adults and five adult children). To begin with, all the rooms in the hotel are of a different standard. We had four double rooms. At first we were given three rooms on the basement floor. Living there is dangerous to health: there is no shower when you swim, water is everywhere and then there is nothing to remove it with, because of this it stinks of dampness and mold, the entrance to these rooms is separate, not through the reception, at night come in who wants to.

Living there is dangerous to health: there is no shower when you swim, water is everywhere and then there is nothing to remove it with, because of this it stinks of dampness and mold, the entrance to these rooms is separate, not through the reception, at night come in who wants to. The balcony of one of the rooms goes out to the restaurant. After long negotiations, we were moved upstairs. My children had room 101 - there was no balcony at all, the shower was broken, there was no toilet brush. We also had rooms 207 and 307: the bath in them is such that I weigh 58 kg I could hardly squeeze between the sink and the toilet. From the balcony - a view of the neighboring hotel. Only in room 202 there was a sea view and a large bath. For a sea view you will be asked to pay an extra 2 euros per person per day. taking out the garbage. In our room for 12 nights, linen was not changed. My son went to the reception for toilet paper. But all of the above cannot be compared with the fact that we did not sleep at night. Downstairs across the road is the Revue nightclub. The disco starts at 12 and ends between 4.00 and 5.30. I learned all the Bulgarians You won’t be able to sleep. And when the disco ends, you think to take a nap, it wasn’t there, a garbage truck arrives. On the first day, I thought that our hotel had collapsed, the sound was indescribable.
Breakfast: oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sour milk, sausage, cheese, sausages, croutons, watermelon, tea, coffee. An adult man will die of hunger.
The owner of the hotel is a two-faced hypocrite, she counts each client twice.
There are air fresheners everywhere in the hotel - death for allergy sufferers.
It’s not far to go to the nearest beach, but it’s small and dirty. We walked on Harmanite, at a slow pace for 20-30 minutes. We won't go to Sozopol anymore.

Despite the efforts to be as objective as possible, the review will be a little subjective and will not concern the entire hotel, since I have not seen other rooms in this hotel other than my room.
We had apartments. The room is located on the first floor of the neighboring (with the main) building. Number ? spacious (50 sq. m. ), has a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room, from which there is access to a small fenced area with a plastic table, 4 plastic chairs and a "dryer" for towels.
The room is decorated with taste, furniture, stove, dishes, knives (in the kitchen), TV, DVD player (in the living room), etc. ? everything is ok! Tolerant wi-fi. Too bad there's only one air conditioner? in the living room, and in the bedroom there is an old and very dirty floor fan (they didn’t dare to use it), so I had to, excuse me, sweat or run to cool in the living room to the air conditioner.
I was somewhat discouraged by the layout and arrangement of the bathroom: a small room with an “original” solution? shower without a cabin or even a tray. It’s just that a “drain” is organized in the tiled floor, and when taking a shower, a puddle forms on the floor, in which you have to stomp (“drain” does not cope). Taking a step to the side doesn't always work, as you bump into the toilet, which is just as "irrigated" during the shower as the wastebasket. In addition, if the toilet paper roll is fixed in place, it will also spray from the shower. The puddle in the "bathroom" is kept from flooding the room only by the threshold.
Four windows of the room are located in two adjacent walls.
Two windows from the living room overlook... the sidewalk (about half a meter wide), behind which is the carriageway. There are cars under the windows and a garbage container is installed. In the mornings, you have to startle from the roar of the powerful engine of the "garbage truck" and the rumble of the container during the unloading of garbage.
I had to keep these windows tightly closed all the time, as well as with the roller cassettes lowered from the outside and tightly closed curtains from the inside (protects from indiscreet views, unsightly landscape, bright sun and partly from external noise).
From the other two windows (one from the living room and the other from the bedroom) “views” of the already mentioned road and the path between the hotel buildings (which vacationers regularly walk along), behind which there is a children's mini-playground, behind it? the first floor of the main building with wide windows-showcases.
We also had to cover these windows of our room tightly with curtains-blinds (although we are not hypocrites, we are not inclined to exhibitionism either). So, unfortunately, there is no need to talk about the “view from the window” and about acceptable natural light.
As for the noise penetrating through the half-open window sashes: in the morning and in the afternoon? from the road (transport), day and evening ? from the playground, in the evening and at night ? from the "disco" located at the bottom of the slope on which the hotel is located.
When it rains in one place on the ceiling of the living room... it rains. I had to substitute a plastic basin (the number is also provided to them).
From time to time I had to ask at the reception to organize the cleaning of our room or at least take out the garbage. The maids are apparently shy about offering cleaning services, especially if you are in the room. . .
During our stay (14 night tour) bed linen was changed only twice and towels (quite worn out) three times, which does not correspond to the frequency stated by the hotel rules. Although one rule is clearly observed? check-out time for vacationers (according to the rules, you should “leave” the room before 12.00). Already at 11.59 on the last day of rest, the hostess personally came to find out why we had not “left” yet, although we had already chosen. Moreover, there were no new applicants for “our” apartments, no cleaners, burning with labor enthusiasm, nearby. True, as the owners explained to us the day before, we could ask not to be evicted for a few more hours (our flight was only in the evening) for only 20 euros... The farewell was not touching... There was an unpleasant aftertaste.
In the hotel you can hear conversations in Bulgarian, Ukrainian, German, English, Russian and other languages. Maybe other hotel rooms are more successful and perhaps the attitude towards other vacationers was better than in our case. Maybe. . .
Since the hotel is located on a rather steep slope, the restaurant is located on the "zero" level. The terrace of the restaurant offers a delightful view of the sea port and the old town. Did we rarely use the services of the restaurant? expensive, given the small portions, sometimes tasteless (maybe this is subjective), although breaded cheese is pretty good.
The way from the hotel to the sea is not close and requires "sweat", given the location of the hotel on a hill, many steps and a road that needs to be overcome. But sea ? beyond praise: clean, warm, friendly. . . On the beaches? and on the central (closest to the hotel), and on "Harmanite", there is enough space for everyone. It offers guests a traditional set of attractions, many restaurants.
But there is no polyclinic in the city, only an ambulance station, there is also no public transport. However, the town is small and if "legs walk", then there are no problems.
Based on the conditions of our stay, and also taking into account the experience of rest in other three-star hotels in Bulgaria, I can rate the Kaliteya Hotel with ? maximum "three with a minus".

We found the hotel on our own on the Internet, guided by photos and reviews. Nothing fooled us! Starting from the meeting with the hostess Katya and to the settlement....The room is gorgeous! Cleaning daily. Furniture, interior, linen - everything is EXCELLENT! The view from the room to the sea....-a fairy tale! The staff is very qualified and friendly.

Rest in "Kaliteya", in general, I liked it. Lovely, friendly owners, in everything they tried to please their customers. The tour was ordered without food, which they did not regret, because. there are a lot of cafe-restaurants in the city and I didn’t want to be tied in time to one thing at all. Sometimes we had breakfast/dinner at the hotel, but not often.

Sometimes we had breakfast/dinner at the hotel, but not often. The portions are not very large, but tasty : ) By the way, the price tags in the cafe are almost the same everywhere, and the menu is quite diverse.
I liked that "Kaliteya" is located at the intersection of the old and new city. Very convenient to get to anywhere in the city. The beach is also close, but you need to go down / up the stairs to get there, there are quite a lot of them, so keep in mind. You can, of course, go to it on a flat road, but it takes more time, because. need to bypass.
Not far from "Kaliteya" there is a disco. The sound comes through very well. Therefore, not all guests get to sleep : ) She didn’t bother me, I slept like a log, but I know that many suffered.
Conclusion: Whoever does not interfere with sleep music, take a closer look at the "Kaliteya" one by one is worth it! In all other respects, the hotel is good : ) And the owners will always help : )

The hotel was chosen from those already available at the end of May 2013, settled on July 18.2013 in room 101 without a balcony and air conditioning overlooking the stairs and the neighboring hotel on the right, lived there for the first 3 days. Towels and clothes had to be dried on a small balcony on the second floor, the entrance to it from the corridor, the clothes dryer constantly fell with clothes.

Towels and clothes had to be dried on a small balcony on the second floor, the entrance to it from the corridor, the clothes dryer constantly fell with clothes. Then we were moved to room 103 with a sea view, the view is certainly excellent, but the balcony is located above the restaurant and in the evening if we beat in the room, then the songs and feasts are heard very well. But the worst thing is, of course, a disco, for all 14 nights I could not sleep even once, it rattles both with an open balcony and a closed one, a Bulgarian DJ yells something there at midnight. The air conditioner did not work normally, it just blew warm air, I contacted the owner but nothing happened. I had to wake up every hour from the roar of music. There was not enough knife in the room, we bought both melons and watermelons, but there was nothing to cut, and what kind of plate one could have. The room was cleaned every day, but the towels were changed every 3 days, out of habit, I threw the towels on the floor every morning, and the cleaners picked them up from the floor and hung them back on the hooks : ) In the restaurant at the hotel, I had to have dinner once and have breakfast several times, breakfast cost 5-6 years and consisted of 2 toasts with jam or something similar. For this money, you could normally have breakfast in a cafe, I don’t recommend a restaurant, there are a lot of different cafes in the city, I especially liked the Ocean. The girls at the reception speak Russian, you can use: hair dryer, ironing board, iron, safe, you need to ask at the reception. The sea was mostly calm, but the lifeguards on the towers whistle every minute, very unnerving. The beach is dirty, although it is cleaned by a car, but cigarette butts, stones and other nonsense are constantly lying around, we had to collect garbage in a bag before spreading the sunbed. On the beach itself, the free zone is very small, everything else is paid, lay down under an umbrella - 6 lev, +6 more on a sun lounger, VIP zone 25 lev. The central beach is small, it was too lazy to walk to the big one. From 12 to 17 o'clock we tried to go somewhere, it was very hot, for the first 2 days we burned out, stayed on the beach for a couple of hours.
Conclusion: if there were no disco and there would be a normally working air conditioner, then Kalitea could be considered as an option, but I will try not to go there anymore and I will not recommend it.

Cleaning is daily and indeed cleaning, the change of linen was, it seems, three times, the towel was changed more often. Very nice hosts, tried to solve everything and even more. View of the sea, the port and the old town, in general, everything is very decent, BUT! The hotel stands on a hill, and below there is a very lively track + a disco that starts at 0.30 and ends at 5.30 where... it is simply impossible to sleep. I had to constantly close the balcony and turn on the air conditioner, although this did not save. Yes, the mattresses were also spree : (. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the nearest beach (central) . . and with a child it stretches for all 30 . . because there are 110 steps! . . very small, the free zone is generally tiny, there is not a single tap on the beach for washing your feet, you had to spank with sticky sand rubbing your feet. The water was sooo warm 28 degrees and a bunch of seaweed, it’s impossible to swim, a swimsuit full of greenery. The entrance is sooo shallow, The second beach of Harmani is larger, but farther away. Unfortunately, we never made it to Kavatsi . . the child caught pneumonia : ( We didn’t like the restaurant at the hotel at all, the choice of dishes is not very good, the portions are small, it was better in the city. Breakfast generally sucks. . 5 leva + coffee tea separately. .
Sometimes in the restaurant in the evening they sang until 12 o'clock (it seems the owner) under the button accordion. In general, the town seems to be pleasant, but very noisy, a lot of cars and people, the beaches are small and miserable, the people are dark. Maybe off season would be better. In general, Bulgaria did not go to us . . absolutely. It was very humid, stuffy and strong wind, 5 minutes after a shower and you are wet again. We all got sick, and not only us, there were crowds of people in the pharmacy. Perhaps not the right time and the wrong resort . . but the vacation has passed . . and it's a pity that with such impressions.

Rested with my husband this summer in the hotel Kaliteya. Well, let me start by saying that the hotel is really located in a good location. Walk to the beach for 10 minutes. It's to the nearest beach. We were there 2 times, then we chose another, much longer in length. It is true to go there for about half an hour (instead of charging).

The view from the room is amazing! The old part of the city is in full view. The sea, all sorts of yachts and all that... The sun did not fall on the balcony, there was always a shade. Sit on the balcony all day long. By the way, about the balcony. . . There was a table and one chair on it (for some reason, but we told the hostess about this in the evening and the next day the second chair showed off in the same place! ), There was also a clothes dryer. So I worried in vain about where things would dry!
About the number. There was no air conditioning (it is in the description of the hotel). As I wrote above, we did not get direct sunlight, so we did without air conditioning. They just always left the door to the balcony ajar and there was always fresh air and coolness in the room. The furniture in the room is at least piled up: the bed is simply huge, figs you will find each other awake; bedside tables on both sides of the bed; table; chair; something else, I don’t know the definition of this, something like a coffee table; a cabinet with a mini-bar inside, a TV set on top; closet and mirror. Now I'm a little angry. The bed linen had unwashed stains. Fu, disgusting complete! As I looked at the sheet and immediately remembered that it was not worth waiting for another, because. I'm always lucky"! I already thought I would have to sleep standing up, but looking at the duvet covers, I decided that they would very well fulfill the role of sheets. True, then there was nothing to hide, but oh well! In the toilet, the shower is a faucet, a curtain and a drain in the floor. Towels we disdained to use after looking at the sheets. In general, the room is very comfortable. I liked it.
Service. I'll start with the cleaners. I am very dissatisfied with them. On the very first day, I “dirtyed” the bed linen (well, women have problems), so the linen was not touched by them. Was waiting for it to be replaced. I had to wash it myself. But a day later we changed all the linen completely. But here... on the same "spotty", not so dirty truth. Maybe they ordered it from America? ! Room cleaning consisted of taking out the trash and throwing toilet paper on the TV. I traced where the panicle is located in the hotel, I myself took care of the room. I also cleaned the floor in the shower room myself from the sand. Seeing such a thing, the cleaners even helped me once. Once the floor of the bathroom was cleaned in our absence. I don’t know, maybe in 3 stars they clean it like that, but for me it’s not acceptable. After all, you can wipe the dust at least once every three days!
I was pleasantly surprised that at the reception you can take umbrellas, washing basins, an iron (in vain they dragged them from home), a hairdryer for free use. There is even a library with Russian books! The girls at the reception are very helpful and nice.
Restaurant. We had a choice of food for breakfast. Lunches were offered complex for 5 leva, but we never ordered lunches there. We rarely ate there except for breakfast. What we ate in the restaurant there was delicious. Service is good. The hostess herself and the owner sometimes served. This fact was nice! The terrace of the restaurant had a small playground. All sorts of houses, a swing and something else there. I didn’t really look closely, I grew up from that age.
As a result, my husband and I were satisfied with the hotel! If we go to Sozopol, my husband wants to go there without talking. Well, I... for my husband. But I will definitely take my bedding and a dust cloth with me!

True, they offered us to take the sheets for ourselves. Ha!... For a broken glass 2 euros. this was not at any resort, neither in Spain, nor in Turkey, etc. , where they rested more than once. Although there were also cases in the form of a broken chair, glass, etc. The hostess is very prudish, not polite, behaves disrespectfully with tourists. Kallithea is a special hotel. Special because positive and negative are exactly 50/50. Positive: a beautiful view of the old town of Sozopol, a great atmosphere created by the hostess of the hotel, good cuisine, especially in terms of price / quality ratio. Negative: sea view rooms do not have air conditioning, but in principle it is not hot in Bulgaria.

Positive: a beautiful view of the old town of Sozopol, a great atmosphere created by the hostess of the hotel, good cuisine, especially in terms of price / quality ratio. Negative: sea view rooms do not have air conditioning, but in principle it is not hot in Bulgaria. However, under the windows of the hotel across the street is a club that does not have a roof, and therefore the sound until 4 = x in the morning, very loud and very fun. If you close the balcony - silence, but no air conditioning. And therefore there are two options: we do not sleep in the cool or we sleep, expiring with sweat. Well, without a car, the beach is far away, because you need to climb the mountain, albeit on the steps. Cleaning in the rooms is mediocre, but compared to the lack of air conditioning - this is nonsense.
