We rested in early August 2017 with a 10-year-old daughter. Well located. on the rocks and next to two sandy beaches. Partial sea view, great view from the balcony. Cleaned every day very carefully. The staff is friendly, always ready to help. There was not enough kettle in the room, but there was always boiling water in the cooler at the reception.

Of the shortcomings, the construction is outside the window and the air conditioner is directly above the folding chair for the child. I had to cool the room in fits and starts.
A large number of necessary and convenient ''little things'' in everyday life that help the mood of relaxation: a hairdryer, a bath (! ), an ironing board, a safe right in the room, a key card, a carpet on the floor (vacuumed every day), chamber lighting, a sufficient number of sockets, tv, wi-fi catches well. We are very satisfied, we will come again.

Upon arrival in Burgas, our luggage was lost. Thanks to our wonderful Borispol, our suitcase flew safely to Bodrum, in addition to this trouble, no one met us at the exit from the airport. Moreover, no one knew what or who "Alf" was. I had to call directly to Kyiv at the central office of "Alf" where we were told that we should be met not by "Alf" but by "Starfish". And then the question arose for me, for what did I actually pay the money to "Hot Tours"? certainly not for running around the airport and looking for your transfer. We found the guys from Starfish quickly, we must give them their due, they helped us a lot with the search for the missing luggage and took us to the Fiord hotel. We arrived at the hotel, we bought a room of category “B”, but the owners, after listening to our whole story with a meeting at the airport and luggage, gave us the largest room of category “A”. Todor and Ivanka are very nice and intelligent people who did everything for us to make our vacation memorable. The room is very large and clean with a sea view. There is a mini bar. The prices are quite normal, you can use it without thinking that three skins will be torn off, as happens in other hotels. The safe is paid, we paid 5 lev per day. Cleaned every day, very clean. The bed was changed every 3 days. The bed is perfect! not a single speck and perfectly white. The same applies to towels, they were changed every day. Breakfasts are served on the ground floor, where the reception and the adjacent summer terrace are located. Very nice to have breakfast and look at the sea. For breakfast they served: all kinds of muesli, 5-6 types of cold cuts, 5-6 types of cheese, vegetables (which was a pleasant surprise, already in June the tomatoes were the same as we had in September, very ripe and fragrant, however, like watermelons) on hot sausages, eggs prepared every day in different ways, pasta, toast, butter, jams, honey, fruits, various pastries, tea, coffee, milk, juices. We ate very well. Walk 2 minutes to the beach. The beach is quite clean, you can sunbathe under an umbrella, on a sunbed, for 6 lev each pleasure, or for a number of umbrellas for free. The sea is very clean, though there was a rather strong storm for a couple of days, after lunch they didn’t let the sea go deeper than knee-deep, some algae washed in, but in the morning the sea was again clean and transparent. As for cafes and restaurants, the prices are quite low, we like to go to restaurants, so we ate in different places, the prices do not differ much. On average, for two adults, eating “from the belly” and drinking costs 25-30 lev (they are up to 150 UAH). The maximum we sat was 40 lev, which by Kiev standards is just laughter. The kitchen is not for everyone, everything is pretty good, but spices are already boring for 3-4 days, salads are not seasoned, they bring: salt, pepper, vegetable oil or olive oil. Everything in restaurants is fresh and prepared very quickly. I was glad that even though they ate twice a day in different cafes, they never got poisoned, which is outlandish for the Crimea, for example. Sozopol is a beautiful quiet town, people are very friendly and kind. In the evenings we went for a walk both in the new part of the city and in the old one. We also spent time in the bar at the hotel, because at that time the Euro 2012 matches were broadcast, we came to the bar and watched the broadcast on the big screen, and also ordered drinks at the hotel bar. The prices are very democratic, for example, a majito or a gin and tonic costs about 7 lev, 35 UAH, and the form of serving is just super! In general, I highly recommend Sozopol and the Fiord Hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

Upon check-in, we were met personally by the owner himself, he briefly told us the routine: what time is breakfast, room cleaning, etc. The owner's wife was personally present at breakfasts and made sure that we had enough of everything, poured juices into jugs (natural, by the way, not from concentrates, as in some hotels), reported food if the buffet ended.

By the way, for breakfast there was a wide range of products, ranging from “kisele mlyako” with 3 types of various additives, scrambled eggs, several types of sausages, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, delicious pastries, still hot... The room has everything you need: a hairdryer, a TV with many channels, a mini-fridge, a DVD player (if anyone is interested), even a small set of needles and threads... The daily change of towels was a pleasant surprise ; ) There is a dryer on the balcony for drying clothes. Of course, there is air conditioning, but we never turned it on all the time, as the breeze from the sea was quite refreshing; )
From the negative: the girls at the reception do not understand Russian well... fortunately the owner spends a lot of time in the lobby and comes to their aid! )
On the next site from this wonderful hotel there was a frozen construction site, 2 floors were erected. All in all, she didn't bother us at all.

On the other hand, you are surrounded by the care of sympathetic and hospitable hosts and their employees. The owner and his wife, aged 40-50, are surprisingly nice people, they speak Russian and are happy to talk about their way of life, about the city, about the country.
The room is very cozy with wooden furniture and carpet, which is much nicer for the child, everything is very clean. The small crib and baby bed are just lovely. Everything is done there reliably, which certainly saves the nerves of the owners and guests.
And if we ever go to Bulgaria again, we will definitely want to go back to chat with the charming Todor and his wife.
