Enlighten me. We are thinking of going to Istanbul for one day. The question is how much it costs, from whom to take, what takes time, in short, all aspects are of interest.

One day in Istanbul is very, very little. You won't really see anything. 3 days to have time to see the main sights - at least.

Excursion for 1 day costs about 100 euros per person. For 2 days, about 120. There are no more days. You need to take it from your meeting side. On the second day you will have a meeting with the guide and he will give you a list of excursions with prices.

Definitely 2 days. The price includes a 3-hour sightseeing tour of the city, a visit to the mosque. But out of 3 hours, we drove around the city for an hour, spent an hour in a fur and leather factory, and sat for an hour in a cafe overlooking the panorama of Istanbul. I took it as a hack-work of the host. Other excursions are paid. I really liked the boat trip along the Bosphorus and St. Sophia Cathedral. You can go to the Grand Bazaar, the Egyptian market yourself. For three it cost about 480 euros. Prices are different, it is necessary to be like a travel agency.

I support everyone - at least 2 days!
A 2-entry visa, or a multi-visa must be opened.
You can also independently from Burgas (bus station "South"), departure at 13:15 and 22:00, cost about 35 euros per person (firm "METRO"), back from Otogar in Istanbul. Of course, in this case it is better to book a hotel in the district in advance Laleli. Independently, though I was driving a car, I liked it more. Good luck, you should visit Istanbul!

Poola
It is necessary to take from its meeting party. On the second day you will have a meeting with the guide and he will give you a list of excursions with prices.
Well, this is quite a dead end path for an experienced tourist! I don’t know how it is in Bulgaria, but in other countries, the guide is always expensive! In local travel agencies twice cheaper.

Aleksandr75, in Bulgaria, chasing "two times cheaper", you can not see anything in Istanbul, and even on internal excursions (personal experience, but only once). So, Poola, an experienced tourist, at least in relation to Bulgaria !!

Aleksandr75. The guide will be 10% more expensive, this is their income. But the organization is much better. I also once went on a not very distant excursion - Stone Forest - Madara-Shumen, which I bought at the shopping arcade of the St. Konstantin resort. I don't want to anymore, because instead of a comfortable bus, there was a minibus in which we were very seasick. Secondly, the group was multilingual with one guide girl. In Russian, she somehow read from a paper, in general, she gave the French a printout with the text and they read to themselves. For a long time I figured out where everything was in Madara Park, with our help. So I advise you to go on long-distance excursions in a more organized and comfortable way. And you can buy your neighbors yourself at the malls: Nessebar, Sozopol, etc. And then I did not understand you, what is it in "local travel agencies". Your guide is the person from the local travel agency.

the prices are practically the same, well, maybe you will find 3-10 leva cheaper. If you already really want cheap - you can take a regular bus

By the way, when my husband and I were on such an excursion for 2 days, the hotel where we stayed asked how much the room cost - it turned out to be about $ 80 (the price of the whole trip was for 1 person). We still managed to go to the Princes' Islands - beauty! Instead of 25 euros per person for a walk along the Bosphorus - we paid approx. 2 euros for the ferry, and another 1 euro was given for renting bikes. Well, we ate baklava with tea on Buyukada :)

Last year, we traveled from Nessebar for 1 day - 2 days were a pity out of the allotted nine. It cost 140 lev (at the tour operator) per person + 25 dollars. walk along the Bosphorus. In the same bus there were tourists who bought the same trip on the street for 105 lev. At the expense of the organization - in the bus, which looked very comfortable, even the seats were not put off - and we spent the whole day in it. At night - the road there, during the day excursions and the Bosphorus and shopping, late in the evening back. The group consisted of tourists from five countries - accordingly, while one was being translated, the others had already blew everything. But still, the impressions overpower all the inconveniences. But an excursion to Veliko Tarnovo was taken from a Bulgarian agency, which was found on the Internet before the trip. A group of Russian speakers only. Much cheaper than the tour operator offered (especially when there are three of us). And the quality is just as good, if not better. So - how lucky!

Last year we went to Istanbul for 1 day, I always buy excursions from the host (my tour operator) why? because I firmly believe that it’s better to overpay 5-10 leva than to spoil your vacation by running after someone (there are times when tourists were forgotten or simply not taken away, everything seems to be a human factor, especially at the height of the season, but if this happens with the host, then most likely they will apologize and you will go the next day or they will return the money to you, but if you buy something on the street, you can simply not find anyone to make a claim tomorrow). I visited almost all the proposed excursions and Istanbul is still that trip, almost all the time on the bus (I went for 1 day), but ISTANBUL is worth it and definitely for 2 days !!!
