Kharkov - Poltava - Kremenchug - Kirovograd - Chisinau - Galati - Constanta - the Bulgarian coast. The most difficult section: from Kirovograd to the border with Transnistria. At the entrance to Braila, do not trust the navigator who will try to take you to the left (this is by ferry) - go straight through the city all the time, and then the navik will change lanes and lead you to the bridges and the high-speed road to Constanta. The ferry costs 18-21 lei, and the high-speed road costs 13 lei. Payment is obligatory in Romanian currency and only in cash. No dollars, euros or bank cards are accepted. Withdraw currency from any ATM when you spend the night. Near "Magnus" there are several ATMs. I recommend to go through bridges and high-speed road. Don't forget to buy vignettes - both Bulgarian and Romanian. This year we traveled through Odessa. There is no road from Tatarbunary to the border...

Open my own link above - you can do it this way, or you can go to Kharsov, the roads are good. You don’t need to drive into Braila at all, there is a detour, and there is no point in going to the motorway, there is no benefit. From Ukraine it is better through the north of Moldova to Romania. Road Odessa - Reni no, a huge loss of time on the road and at the checkpoint.
